well we're on the precipice of a new year, make your bold prediction for next year

i'm calling it now, next year the MW divison will have someone not named anderson silva as champion. i'm not saying he's going to lose but i see him either vacating the title or the ufc setting up an interim champ while andy has his fill of super fights to end his career.

what's your bold prediction for next year?

 

GSP vacates his welterweight title and moves to MW.
Rory MacDonald vs. Johny Hendricks for the belt in July.

 

UFC will be off Fox, and Dana will be making it sound like it was his idea and that it's the best thing for the UFC.

 

1. GSP will retire after beating Diaz and Hendricks
2. Female TUF with Rousey and Tate
3. The only superfight that will happen this year will be Bendo vs Aldo. Aldo wins and will be fighter of the year!
4. Injuries will continue to ruin cards.
5. Penn will fight again and actually win a fight at 170
6. Roy Nelson will get kicked out of the UFC after going 0-2 in 2013 against top five competition. He will end the year on Belator fighting on Spike TV.
7. PPV numbers will continue to go down as people finally realize the free UFC cards are better than the PPV's!

 

Cormier will drop down to LHW and fight Jones for the title.

 

Anderson and the UFC have a falling out, an he vacates the title and retires.

 

Rampage signs with Bellator and joins forces with King Mo to form some silly tag team in TNA.

 

Bendo defends his belt three times. Ouch, it hurts to say.

 

1. Either Cain or Cormier will fight at 205
2. Anderson will retire

Weidman wins the mw belt

Ellenberger knocks out hendricks

 

Chuck and randy come out of.retirement to fight one final time

 

Ok let's be realistic about these predictions!

 

Someone has to say it, Fedor comes out of retirement and signs with the UFC.

 

GSP takes the Anderson fight and humiliates Anderson, finishing him via TKO elbows on the ground.

Anthony Pettis will defeat Benson in a rematch and end the year preparing for his first title defense against Eddie Alvarez, fresh off a KO of Gil Melendez in a #1 contenders bout on Fox.
