They did tarnish it some what, but losing to high caliber opponents is way more admirable, than claiming supremacy to someone you refuse to fight against imo. So, YES.

Does he fight / defends this year? or in the upcoming 12 months at least. My gut says he doesnt, he bought himself a lot of time with the Stipe fight, 1 year for it to actually happen from the date it was supposed to happen first, worth mentioning, and its been almost 4 months since then, Aspinall fought before that, i think Aspinall will fight 1-2 times before Jones vacates / retires imo, whoever Jones fights, probably wont happen during 2025, if it ever happens, i like Jones, but he is delaying fights like no other.

It's Jon Jones, he gets to do what he wants, when you've dominated the sport in the fashion he has and for this long, you get special privileges, cry about it

They didn't cut him after falling multiple drug tests and got title shots afterwards. Is that not enough privilege?
