Movie 20: 28 Weeks Later

My Rating: 7/10
What lacks in the first movie 28 days Later is there wasn't enough zombie attacks/kills. In this sequel they stepped it up. Unfortunately thats all they improved on. This movie lacks a good story compared to the first which made me appreciate the first movie a lot more. The opening scene is very good and intense and in no way do I blame him for running away. There are more notable stars in this sequel (Renner, Byrnes, Elba) but all 3 combined couldnt capture the performance Murphy displayed in the first film. While it does give a good shock value to it, I didnt really care for the husband & wife angle/story. If you add the action/zombies from the sequel into the original film you would probably have the best zombie movie of all time. I did like this movie and enjoyed watching it but overall its just alright to me.
