It is such a weird sensation. Almost like slow motion and you are completely helpless and you know it. It is so hard to describe to someone, you almost need to experience it.

must be a horror show watching the guy load up a haymaker on your ass in that state lmao

Yeah thats what I was thinking, the whip lash was the final straw type of situation. I think most people really underestimate that whip lash. Most of the brutal KO's usually involve the fighter's body hitting the canvas and then whiplashing the head back into the canvas.

that's also how the majority of people die when getting sucker punched in the streets. it's not the punch that kills them it's them violently falling and smacking the shit out of the back of their head on concrete.

One was in kb but the other was MMA. Terrifying is a good description cause you see it coming, cannot do anything about it, and it fades to black. This is part of the reason why I get annoyed at people who make fun of tapping to strikes. They are lucky that there body is in control enough to get out of the situation (and I do think it is the body more so than just the mind, and being weak mentally). It is always a bunch of cowards on here who never have never fight and could not throw a punch to save their life-both from cheeto induced moobs and general lack of skill.

the reason why the fans shit on people who tap to strikes is because many fighters perpetuated that sentiment. i remember before JDS fought Frank Mir he was speaking Portuguese to Big Nog in some restaurant and he said that Frank wasn't even a man because he tapped to strikes. lots of fighters are like that because it shows you have quit in you. i can see your position but i can also see the fighter's position.i think fans should realize this is one of those things where your opinion doesn't matter and should be kept to yourself if you're not a peer. in reality, fighter's should criticize this either but it also helps gatekeep people like Bob Sapp who throw fights. i don't know, it's a complicated matter in my opinion.
