I never wore a cup in wrestling and never really had a problem in the 6 years i wrestled. I just started jiu jitsu and wear a cup everytime. It takes awhile to get used to, but I don't think i'd roll without one now. I've found that different companies have different styles and some are much much better than others for staying in place.
