We will officially never see GSP at WW ever again

Any idiots here who would choose a lose lose over a win win situation?

This is a for sure fact. Gsp calling out lws instead of facing Woodley. He don't want that smoke.

After already having a huge 9 title defenses and being classed as the Welterweight GOAT and retiring, you have a problem going with him going for a 3rd belt and becoming UFC SuperGOAT? He has already done twice as many title defenses as Woodley.. he has been there, done that, and put all the effort in.

That was the reason for GSP coming back to the UFC after 4 years off, was to take a few other belts and get finishes. So far he is right on target! That is all he is trying to do bro :D He has 2 belts going for 3, no one has ever done it! Don't pretend Tyron wouldn't do that if he already had a full career behind him.

Woodley beats a guy with a very thin resume and now he's the GOAT. No. Woodley's opponents haven't been as good as GSP's and probably never will be. Woodley will retire before he has a chance to get the strength of opposition GSP had.

Think about it for a minute. Darren had no threat of takedown or grappling. Look when he fought Maia.
Maia certainly isn’t more dangerous than till but he beat him easy in comparison.

Georges is way more well rounded. Woodley wouldn’t know what he was gonna do ( unlike till who was obvious)

I believe gsp would have a good shot.

This is Sherdog.

I keep saying that MMA fans are MMAflies, they post like they only have one day to live. All that matters is the most recent fight, and any guy that looked good today is the obviously the best ever.

GSP has fought his share of one punch fighters, and they're never a problem. GSP in his prime would walk though Woodley and make it look easy. Last night the commentators were talking about that one punch, and surprise surprise, that's what landed. A guy with one tool in his striking isn't going to beat GSP.

There's a reason Rory made Tyron look foolish, and no, Tyron isn't a lot better now. He's the same guy fighting the same fight, throwing the same punch.

Tyron knocked out Lawler because Lawler relies on his chin a lot (to be fair it's excellent) and his defense isn't the best.

Tyron completely outclassed Till last night. He looked great doing it, but let's not think it put him anywhere near GOAT contention.

He's at 3 now. Name another 3 welterweights who can beat him. Not Colby, Not Usman and sure as hell not RDA.
That's paper, not cage.

On paper, nobody thought Dillashaw could beat Barao at UFC 173, but TJ made Renan his bitch. Then did it again in the rematch.

He's the welterweight king and since coming back has fought old blind in one eye Bisping at MW and now looking to fight the champ from LW (below his weight), but for some reason (we'll call that reason fear of Tyron) he's just not interested in fighting at WW anymore.
Be sure to provide a sound source for your rebuttal.

Not only do I think Tyron would beat GSP, I think he would beat him easily.

GSP isn't taking him down and he damn sure isn't winning with his jab.

@ me

He sure is winning with his jab lmao.

Lol at everyone that's sucking Woodley's balls now.

doesn't matter? tyron will send him into a coma if they fight.
That's all you have as a reply....doesn't matter.....duh.
You spout out BS with no facts to back it up. Maia was a minimal TD threat to Woodley and he didn't put Maia in a coma. Woodley would throw even less punches against GSP.

Fact: GSP ducked Woodley

GSP was retired for four years. He hadn't earned a title shot at MW or WW when he came back (sitting on your butt doing nothing is not qualification for a title shot). He still hasn't earned a title shot at WW, and the only reason Woodley or anyone else wants to fight GSP is for the money.

If it was a real sport GSP should have to work his way back up the WW ranks (or any other weight division ranks) to earn a title shot. Its insane that people (including Woodley) think he should have a title shot at any weight but MW at this point, and since he vacated MW, he shouldn't get a shot even there.

Think about it - his last fight at WW was in 2013. That's when the Seahawks won the superbowl. Would you give the Seahawks a bye into the Superbowl this year because of what they did five years ago?

Woodley wanting to fight GSP is Woodley ducking the top WW fighters, because GSP does not deserve a title shot at WW or any other weight at this point.
