We will never know how good MVP could have been

You swayed me a little but doesnt Bellator have precedence of compelling fighters to fight like the UFC? They are in the entertainment business. If they thought they could make money stacking MVP vs anyone decent they wouldn’t have made that happen no?
How many top Bellator welterweights over the years did you hear calling for a fight with MVP? Paul Daley and Curtis millender is the only ones I can think of. This isn’t all on MVP. It’s a combination of factors. Nobody wants to fight him, when somebody actually does they get injured and he ends up fighting a replacement, and I’m sure there’s some blame for MVP and Bellator as well.

he is about to be 34

he spent all of his prime years outclassing nobodies in Bellator

he lost to Lima, but he got caught and there is no shame in losing to Lima

imagine Adesayna vs. prime MVP?

I don’t think anyone would of blamed him for loosing to Lima, he’s a tough tough tough guy.

It’s more that he lost to Lima and then fought a guy with a 3-2 record. A tune up fight is ok I guess but this ain’t boxing.

He then fought a guy who was 0-4 in bellator all by way of KO.

Then a guy who’s 11-4

In fairness he did beat a previously undefeated Cage Warriors champ by decision.

MVP is legit he was tooling LIMA before his unfortunate slip

MVP will dance again
And I assume by unfortunate slip you mean that perfectly timed leg kick to Lima threw sweeping his leg out from under him?

If MVP had the same exact record and the same exact opposition but it took place in the UFC nobody would say a word. Crazy how blinded ppl are by the “UFC” on the logo. Kevin Holland smashed Charlie Ontiveros who is a total can but it was in the UFC so it’s considered part of his “run” but MVP does it and he’s crushing cans. You can’t win unless you’re in the UFC. That’s the bottom line with casuals.

I've been an MVP fan for so long since 2012, when I first saw his style. It's the only style that reminds me of old Silva. It's almost 10 years later and I still have no clue where he ranks. Just kind of sucks. Still amazing highlights I'll give him that.
