WBC: Canelo vs GGG 2 is dead

Canelo to confess all and take his ban like a man?

But he can't be found guilty of doping, the WBC president said so

Canelo, specifically and exclusively to this case, may be considered guilty of negligence and ignorance and was careless in his nutrition regime. However, with all the facts and information available to analyze this case, he cannot be found guilty of doping.

What else doesn't HBO have to do to promote

Everyone knows about this fight
And even more people heard about it after the failed test

If they can keep it on Cinco de Mayo
They should keep it

4 more months of ring rust for GGG, I guess.

*sigh*

How about 4 episodes on 24/7? A face off? Promoting the fight during other fights instead of just saying it's most likely cancelled? Posters and flyers and ads everywhere? The half sheet of cardboard they send me in the mail with a 5 dollar off coupon if I order the HD version with my remote control?

It's not about knowing the fight is gonna happen. It's about getting people excited for it. That is what the promotion for a huge fight does.

Realistically any delay in the fight hurts Golovkin, time is not on his side. He's going to be 36 in a week.

Personally, I think Golovkin should move on from Canelo. The vast majority believes he won the first fight. He can wait a little bit to fight Saunders and unify the division maybe one or two more fights before retirement. He's not far off from breaking B-Hop's record for title defenses in the Middleweight division.

Would anybody fault him for not fighting Canelo? Apart from his bank account.

meh first fight sucked ass.

We need to see more fights like Aj Vs. Parker.

That was fireworks!!
Just watch Usyk vs Gassiev and you will see why boxing is interesting then MMA in last year

His attitude after the fight, I vaguely remember Tyson saying he wanted to kill and eat Lewis' children, but as soon as the fight was over and he lost he was saying thank you to Lennox and being a gentleman. Canelo acted like a cunt.

Summary- yep serious.
This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen which considering this is sherdog is saying a lot.

There's so many flaws in your argument.
There was no question about who won the Tyson Lewis fight. the KO saw to that. The same cannot be said about Canelo Golovkin

It was a draw and while a large amount of people saw Golovkin won, there's plenty who also saw Canelo winning. Canelo shouldn't admit to losing a draw when there's a rematch being made. That's just foolish.

I had Golovkin winning but I expect Canelo to say he won and that he's going to win the rematch.
That's kind of the idea Golovkin says he won, Canelo said he won. Soooooo rematch.

Its ridiculous to expect a fighter to be humble after 12 rounds where he likely knows he lost? Cheers big ears.

Do you have some sort of metal impairment?

Why would he admit to losing a contentious draw? There were plenty of close rounds and overall Canelo landed more power shots while Golovkin landed a higher total number it was based off his jabs.

This isn't a decision like Lewis Holyfield or Whittaker Chavez. This was much closer.
Both men have a claim to a win in the first fight, how to settle that dispute? Oh yeah, a rematch.

How is this hard for you to understand? Just because you don't think Canelo won doesn't make it so.

Didnt read what you wrote. Hope the post took a while to type in :)

If Spike O'Sullivan is the back up, I'm done with GGG.

Never trust a ginger Mexican.

That is all.
