watched jds vs cain 2 for the 3rd time

i just watched this fight for the 3rd time so i can triple check my thoughts before posting. i have seen alot of people on here say cain couldnt knock out jds. if you watch the fight closely i counted twice once in the 3rd and once in the 4th where it looked like jds legs buckles and he was going to falland is or was out of it. the only thing that saved him was when he was going to fall cain pushed him against the cage keeping his body up with his shoulder. did anyone else see or notice that

2 - Cain doesn't have that heavy hand

Cain didn't knocked out JDS on that night and JDS was really bad, his worst apresentation in UFC, even this Cain didn't knock him out. As he didn't do that on this night, he will never knock JDS out...

Cain absolutely demolished JDS. JDS has to be the toughest SOB at HW. that was Cains best showing, and absolutely brutal. JDS defied the knockout Cain would have had over a lesser opponent.

I agree. Ko is less painful then what Cain did to JDS. I am sure JDS IS STILL IN PAIN FROM THAT FIGHT.

Yeah there's a point in the later rounds where JDS gets cracked hard against the fence and starts to turn away from Cain. Was pretty close to being a finish IMO

It was probably like a bad car accident for JDS. It's unlikely he has any recollection of that entire day. He just kept standing up and barely defended punches. Tough dude.

Both guys seemed overly pumped up, so maybe adrenaline dump - but after JDS gassed from Cain grabbing his leg it seemed that Cain followed, hanging on to JDS's waist and just not looking overly beastly and not even able to keep the zombie down. Though it was definitely dominant over JDS's game plan of trying to control Cain's mind

If Cain could knock JDS out, he had about 21 or 22 minutes of complete domination to do so. Did he get a stoppage? No.

Cain could have finished it, i feel he clinched too often when he should have stepped back and unloaded. Cain needed to throw more elbows in the clinch.

Having said that, epic performance by Cain, I loved every second of it.

at the beginning of the first round, both fighters should be as close to equally fresh as you could possibly get. After that, cardio plays a bigger factor.

Its far more impressive to stop someone in the first round than grapplefuck someone for 5. It's incredibly hard to catch someone with a good power shot when they are at full power, full cardio, full speed.

its not hard to beat a guy up thats completely gassed. If anything you got it completely backwards

JDS said himself he had the best camp and was in the greatest shape of his life. He said he was ready....until Cain landed that first big shot.
