Was this the worst beating ever received in a UFC fight?

Twas competitive but damn if this doesn't give anyone nightmares.

Who’s that guy mike Davis nearly beat to death?

Shogun vs Jones was the worst beating I have ever seen, but Im sure there are fights that just as bad I haven't watched.

As much as I hate to say it. Jones vs Shogun.

I see Gatehje vs Tony mentioned, but that fight was competitive for half the fight.

as far as prolonged breatings rockhold to weidman
chris musta eaten 4 minutes of the bext g+p in the ufc
his chin never recovered

quick brutal beating = pat smith to scott morris

Chris Tuchererer getting KTFO by Gonzaga after that brutal nut shot. Fight should have been called there. No way he should have been able to continue to fight. Absolutely horrific.

GSP had a mean jab.
But jabbing someone's face is not as vicious as beating them thoroughly everywhere.
Go watch both fights again, you will change your mind.
Regardless of whatever point you’re trying to make, GSP still put savage beatings on Hughes, Serra and Penn in their rematches. I’ll give you that Kos was the least vicious beatdown of the four, but he was still never the same again after that fight.

Oh, I don't disagree he put a beating on them.
GSP was dominant in almost all his fights, and most fighters are not the same after getting dominated for 5 full rounds.

But there's a big difference in how vicious he was to Serra, because (if I recall) he took Serra's comments very personal.
Like I noted with Kos fight. GSP could have ended that fight any time he wanted. Kos was done after the first round.
GSP just never really tried to end it, because his strategy was working (so why change?).
Same for Hughes & BJ. Yes, they had some rivalry, but he just fought his (dominant) way.

But with Serra, he went set on killing him anywhere the fight went, and you could see there was emotion mixed with it. IMHO it was the last fight he fought not thinking about exposing himself. He was on killing mode.
