There’s nothing complex about 2020 Ngannou, he’s a sloppy brawler who windmilled his way in the weakest heavyweight era against washed up decrepit fighters.

This is almost certainly true. By the time Ngannou started training MMA he was too old for his skills training to peak before he aged out of peak physical condition.

As for who beats 2020 Frank? Ciryl Gane with a month of intensive grappling training destroys him, and there are lots of fighters in history with equivalent or better skill sets.

LOL, what grappling exchanges? Perhaps you forgot the entire fight. All Francis did was sprawl on one TD from Stipe, reverse to his back, took Stipe down for a few seconds and landed some punches. Then he attempted another TD was stopped and went back to striking. The whole grappling sequence lasted 20 seconds.

You guys give way too much credit for this.
