Was Michael Jackson really that famous?

Yes Michael was huge.
But he took a step away from fame, with all the controversy's piling up and him becoming a father, plus his music was struggling.

Nobody stays on top forever

Yes he is top 5 world famous along with Jesus, Mohammad, Hitler and Einstein.

So famous during the 1980's that he not only globally galvanized the legitimacy of pop music among generations, but also inspired one of the most influential creators of those generations.

He had more of a cult following among a select few hardcore fans, (kind of like GG Allin for example). Little known fact is that his siblings were also in the music business.
Who I gg all in?

He has the biggest selling album of all time and is probably the 2nd most recognizable figure of all time, only behind Jesus Christ.

Except that Micheal Jackson is actually real.

Let me tell you about an obscure underground search engine called "Google". You might have to look for it on the dark web but once you locate it all your questions will be answered.

Nah, I’m good.

Yes, although if you weren't around during the 80s and 90s I could see not knowing. He was the biggest music star in the world for years.

There's Elvis, Michael.Jackson, Muhammed Ali,Michael Jordan, Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, etc level famous. Jackson is top 3 of that Level likely 2nd only to Elvis

He's far past Elvis. MJ is number #1.
There's no debate

I looked and couldn't find much.
You haven't looked very hard. Type into Google and you'll see.
Christian scholars, sure.

I have a degree in history. I have seen the bias that exists.
Non Christian scholars wrote about him too.
It's pretty universal that Jesus existed, now what you might be arguing is about whether or not he did the feats that they claim
