Depends who you believe. I don't think many of the figures of old and new testament have much of a trail. There is no mention of jews being slaves in Egypt in their own history. You haven't looked very hard. Type into Google and you'll see.
Non Christian scholars wrote about him too.
It's pretty universal that Jesus existed, now what you might be arguing is about whether or not he did the feats that they claim
Also, most of the Jesus story comes from older sources so if there was an actual person who was named Jesus, his life probably wasn't like the bible says. I'm sure you've heard all of that about the myths coming from older sources. I think the Jews who do believe Jesus of Nazareth existed think he was a trickster or a magician which is why they don't accept him. I think it's possible a guy existed like that and like so many myths they just get retold until they're more myth than true. Even in our own time, sometimes people cling to myths when the subject will point blank tell you it wasn't true (Ali's lost gold medal which he claimed he threw in the river).
Hell, even elvis told his "Memphis Mafia" how the sky was purple or some shit when he was born. That's just mythmaking, our job is to be able to seperate myth from fact.
