Was John Morgan Out of Line When He Asked Conor About the Lawsuits, Or....

It’s better John asked it because he’s respected in the scene and they know he isn’t out for cheap clickbait or is going to be unnecessarily provoking

John Morgan can do whatever the fook John Morgan wants.

Which one's John Morgan? I don't really follow journalism that closely.

Had John Morgan not asked about it Connor most certainly would have been asked about it during any future media availability.

He did not get angry and answered the question in the best way he could given the accusation.

Morgan also gave him a softball, he totally couched the language and did not use the word rape or sexual assault, that was a total softball and Connor should be glad he asked.

i think its all PR stunt but worked very well

Almost as if lawyers were involved <Lmaoo>

Thank you, glad there are a handful of people out there who can easily see what a charade this current (and previous) "sexual harassment" lawsuits are

I thought the question brining up earless dead Vinny was more out of order.

...does anything go at a pre-fight press conference? I thought it was strange that Morgan brought this topic up, but that's me.

Bro, the role of a journalist is to find out information, question everything in order to bring the truth to the public and ask tough questions if necessary about important stories, not to nuthug the athletes/politicians/whoever. That's literally the only reason to even have a press conference. Conor can choose to respond or not, but it's journalism 101 to ask something like that, the story is in several major news outlets.

I used to think John Morgan was pure fluff just to get on Dana's good side, but I gained some respect for him for this and the Tim Sylvia question. John "First come first served" Morgan is OK in my book.

It’s a press conference, not a PR conference. It’d be beyond embarrassing if no media members asked about a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against the main eventer during fight week.

If anything I am more disappointed in the rest of the media that is scared to ask the question. John Morgan was the only one that even asked about it directly.... even though it’s clearly a big story and a new suit was filed on it this week.

Not even a few months ago Conor had another similar assault accusation with that lady in the bar. There should be more coverage on this recurring topic with Conor.....

when else can he ask it. it a matter of public record. sure i bet he knows conor will not answer but as a reporter you can ask tough question.

Imagine calling yourself a journalist and not asking a question about a story that came out in the nytimes during fight week? He's not in UFC PR, he's supposed to be a journalist. You think sports journalists covering basketball or something would not ask that question?? They'd ask a way harder version of it.
It's the fans who were out of line booing him, same as the fans who booed Marc Raimondi asking a covid question prior to it exploding in the US. Fuck those fans.

Thought it more odd Dana claimed he could legally phone tap someone, and admit to "watching" a guy.

<{danayeah}><TheDonald>

I think it was unnecessary to be honest, the question has been asked and answered, it looks a lot like a smear job at this stage, Morgan by bringing it up is adding fuel to a fire that should never have been started in the first place.

Nope nothing wrong with it.

Lol at the boo's, pathetic ass human beings/fans. They go Ohhh when Conor mentions his business and unrelated fight stuff, but don't want to hear about his potential criminal allegation. Garbage human beings.
