Was Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a mistake? Deconstructing BJJ

I don't think I've ever seen these. Do you mind showing me, or telling me where I can find it?
I looked quickly and it turns out the book is currently in print by amazon, so you can order a physical copy or kindle version of it from amazon.

Apart from that, there is indeed astonishingly little information of it on the internet. Only Chadi made a YouTube video showing parts of it:

Even among the things displayed in the video though, there are clear examples of what i considers "dubious" techniques, such as Shachi Jime, which is basically just a less effective version of a pro wrestling style Boston Crab where you grab the ankles of the opponent with your hands instead of hooking the legs with your arms.

You’re thinking too deep.

we just have specialized skills sets now

Thanks bro.

UFC was totally eclipsed by PRIDE, even the Gracies themselves went to fight outside the promotion they founded. Then no. The dominance of BJJ early on is not a myth. Your idea of a "one man" is factually wrong, as I said at the same time that Royce was winning the UFC his relative Renzo was beating an Olympic medalist Judoka, and upkicking Oleg, in MMA events other than the UFC.

I am making a statement that is confined to the UFC. You cannot disagree with me by invoking what took place outside the UFC.

I think we are both right. I am right about the UFC and you are right about Pride. OK?

No, because you said MMA and said "very early days". And anyway, separating the MMA scene from the UFC era to focus only on the UFC itself, which was eclipsed by PRIDE, is petty anyway. Wrestling earned its place in MMA, but later, and anyway, by mixing to become competitive. Style vs Style in the very early days, was BJJ time.
