Warroom election prediction thread!

If I win, I'm going to ban Hollywood Nicky. I've wanted to do that since I've started posting here.

I think you are a bit late to that party....

If I tagged you below, you've participated in a debate thread in some fashion, and I am inviting you to submit your election predictions to this link. Sorry if you've been tagged before!

24 hours left!

Is it possible you screwed up the top part of the tag list ?

I wonder if the war room will crash in the same way the heavies crashed when fedor lost?

The HWs used to crash after/during every UFC event. If they crashed after Fedor/Werdum, that would just be a SF event that got UFC-level attention. I was at the event so I wasn't on SD, but I did poke my head in from the parking lot, and I was able to read stuff. I've long suspected that it's kind of a myth that there was some kind of crazy crash.

That's crazy you got to see that live. I thought seeing Kongo Barry was awesome and that really wasn't even a footnote in the sports history.

It definitely crashed. I can't remember if kimbo or fedors was larger but one of them lasted well over two hours until I quit and checked in the morning

Yeah, it was definitely a lot of fun. Went with a friend who wasn't an MMA fan and kind of converted him. And, like I said, I was able to get on probably less half an hour after the fight (when I first checked), and I remember the site crashing during or after all major events. I don't doubt that it did crash for that one, but I wonder if it was anything out of the ordinary.

It definitely had a heavy crash. Im on est so I didn't stay up too late monitoring it (plus it was a weekend in college) so I can't recall how long the crash lasted, but I remember it being damn near instantaneous after fedor lost.

I didn't give a fuck about the kimbo fight so i can't comment on that.

And I do believe third party will get 5% ea.
I haven't been following the data too closely of this election (which is why I'm not filling out the form; I don't have a strong opinion on most of the questions), so I don't know if that is a huge stretch; last I saw Stein was at 2% and Johnson was at 6?

Sig bet?

I'm doing it tonight, but I was playing around with 270towin last night and had Clinton winning 273-265. I'm actually amazed how close it is. I mean, maybe i'm missing something, but where's the landslide coming from?

At times in the election, it looked like some normally red states (like Georgia, Texas, and AZ) could flip. Also, in terms of the popular vote, Clinton was looking like she had a bigger edge than Obama did, but her gains were in red states that weren't going to flip so the popular vote looked like it could be big without the map changing much. Also, haven't seen your map, but I'd bet that you're going to miss low on Clinton.

I just might, I think it came out to be the most favorable Trump map one will find. I think offhand I had him taking Nevada, Florida, Nebraska (No vote split), and Ohio, and STILL losing.

I'll definitely get it up tonight, it was ugly lol.

This is a very good site, by the way, to post graphics of your predictions.

I'm pretty confident in my picks, but I can't call either New Hampshire or Colorado. But it may come all the way down to those two states, both of whom Hillary has the probability of winning.

If Hillary wins either of them, she wins.

Trump has to win BOTH to be the next President.

The odds aren't in his favor, unless somehow he's able to flip Pennsylvania to make up for both NH and CO going to Hillary.

Oh, and I've seen polling data that says Virginia is in play, but I doubt it. It's practically a DC suburb.

I'll post tomorrow if there's any updated polls to warrant making a change.

But, once again, Trump has to win Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio (which I'm confident he will win Ohio) or else it's a guaranteed Hillary Presidency.

I entered my picks based on what I entered into the poll:

I don't really see a path to victory for Trump here.

BTW I am planning to stay up late or get up early to see voting reults as they progress. When will first results likely come in?

Shortly after 7PM EST.

And if Trump loses Florida or North Carolina, as you predict he loses both, election over.

I heard of a poll from New Hampshire that had Trump up by two, but that was yesterday.

I saw the odds thinking on betting on Donals. His price has double in the last 2 days here in uk. You can get 5 times what you bet on him. I think he wins Florida and NC and take this home

@Quipling : Have you participated in the poll yourself? Did not see your predictions!

Predicting 4.3 percent of the popular vote to Johnson in that first link... that would be something.
