Warren's ground kick, intentional or not?

Absolutely intentional.

Absolutely should have been a point-deduction.

Refs & Commissions let fighters get away with that kinda of thing (no point deduction)... so fighters will keep doing this sort of thing. That includes not pull out the stool in a timely manner, eh hem.

Should have been a point.

If you watched the fight, you obviously know it was intentional.

It looked intentional as hell should have lost a point for sure.

Probably should have been a DQ. If that doesn't qualify as a flagrant foul then what ever would?

But refs don't enforce the rules in MMA so smart move by Warren.

I couldn't believe the way Big John was yelling at Warren like he was his kid. Completely inappropriate.

Big John yelled at him cause Warren is a seasoned professional that knows better than to kick a downed opponent. Big John could've easily taken a point away from Warren but then again he could've done the same with Dantas with all the fence grabs. Big John left the decision to the judges of who would win the fight as a point taken away would've changed the outcome.

Reckless attempt at a shot to the body.

Foolish and could well have cost a point

Looked intentional as fuck, but it didn't affect the fight at all. If anything, it was an advantage for Dantas, allowing him to stand up.

Same here, but as it where... should have been a point-deduction.

It was either between brainfart and conscious, but it was definitely not a mistaken movement. I like Warren and I'm semi pissed at BJM for not taking a point. That was a point if I've ever seen one.

Considered all the warning BJM issued I absolutely shocked no point was deducted. It wasn't an accident it was a kick. If joe didn't know where Dantas head was is not an excuse. You are responsible for your weapons. That should have been a point.

The kick was blatant, but the piss poor reffing throughout the bout allowed it. Between Dantas grabbing the fence multiple times, and Warren grabbing Dantas' gloves or shorts multiple times, BJM lost all control. Both fighters should've had points taken throughout the fight.

I want to live in a world where these things don't matter.

Bring back leg to head on ground!
This.

Was an awesome fight. Lots of great grappling from both guys. Fuck BJM for not restarting the fight from that position though.

How is it intentional when Warren can't even see Dantas' head? He threw it blindly, most likely as a body kick.

It looked intentional to me. Thats some dirty stuff, should have at least been a point deduction.

I am rewatching the fight now and just saw it, it was as blatant as they come, he wasnt pushing off, it should have been a point

Intentional. No way was that "pushing off the fence" lol.

The second angle they show next to Dantas' head shows the cut was already there. Had the foul caused the cut it would've been two points.

Warren was winning and wasn't even in a bad position at all. I don't get this "intentional" shit. You really think Warren who knew it was a close fight would risk throwing a kick to the head. He was in a grueling fight and messed up whatever he was trying to do.

But if you seriously think Joe Warren a smart dude would throw a kick to a downed opponent on purpose in a title fight that was basically even, in what would probably be his last big shot in MMA with a loss.

Then you are honestly being stupid.

It was blatant but you guys shpuldnt believe everything commentators say. In one of the replays it was clear that the cut had already beem there. The kick caused nothing but a standup

Should have been a point. Another weekend of crappy reffing.

Par for the course w/ BJM. He's always thought he was 'more important' than the fight or the fighters themselves, trying to make it the "Big John Show". A good ref is not even noticed unless he needs to be.
