i got a lore topic, i have this idea that Roboute is putting primaris marines everywhere with new chapters and reinforcements and the primaries so far have not fallen to gene flaws, mutations or chaos so showing more resilience, i believe this is setting up for a big move Roboute will do against the ecclesiarchy causing an almost second civil war

They do bow down but at some point Roboute’s hatred for the church is gonna threaten their power, but on the other hand since people have been praying to the emperor for thousands of years there is now actually an emperor god in the warp like an order god so the church basically created their own god makes sense based on how things work, i wanna see how Roboute deals with this because the emperor is not a god but there is now a god of the imperium in the warp

Yeah its interesting
Theres a new dark angels book that highlights the issues , they arent trusted and are gettting sick of being looked down on from the 'inferior astartes'
They get hilariously told off for decalring for ' the lion , for legion , for terra and mars'
They sorta learn to say chapter not legion and leave out the mars lingo theyve picked up like saying omissiah but they have a really strong bond and admiration for archmagos cawl (pater cawl as they call him )

-in the new siege of bawl book gabriel seths opinions on them shows hes openly distrustful and warns dante about guilliman , he talks that without the stuggle vs black rage/red thirst the new primaris blood angels are just ultramarines in repainted armour
That he gave rightly gave the chapter masters their independence and is worried about it being taken back , legion building in all but name etc

-imperial fists have a great quote about them online somewhere in new book
One says we should trust thrm maybe...the primarch says so
His buddy imp fist quickly corrects 'not our primarch '

Well. If they try to get uppity with him he can just remind them be punched a space Marines head off. Barehanded. In space. With no helmet on.
 
For guilliman vs the faituh
The last plauge wars book guilliman is saved by an jmperial saint
Hes pissed his choosen 'spacepope' defied him and chews him out.....but as he leaves guilliman picks up his holy book and begins to read!
Hes beginning to understand theres more to it than just placating a powerdul pillar of the new order ,that theres more than he can as yet understand at play

I think Gabriel Seth and the flesh tearers have a point because maybe the emperor beloved by all ( ave imperator) put in the flaws in the genes by design for a reason he only knows and has not revealed and it could prove the main vulnerability of the primaris in some game ending chaos event for some reason, because the legions and their primarchs were designed to work in overlap and in tandem, and the flaws could be a part of the evolution in the long run of the a started and this is could be the end of the primaris in this theoretical scenario

Well from Roboutes view is an unsanctioned psycker that could have killed them all, I love the last line from the custodes tribune to militant apostolic matthew, he looks at that church prick and says “I’m watching you” after Roboute tells him that if he crosses him he is gonna have him burned alive because in the church they like that kind of shit
 
What would you think about the Emperor coming back to life to meet a new greater chaos daemon threat or something? Or should he just stay dead.

Could happen, the emperor has come back to fight alongside the custodes against the endless waves of deamons of the webway gate

Who knows
The primaris are just based on big e's notes , what hed done if hed more time ( his great plan seemeed to have a deadline he was determined not to miss) so seems unlikely he didnt want them
Or maybe he forsaw there would be 2 waves of astartes and that was part of it too

That said you have a great point as theres been some hugely benefical mutations like the black dragons , mentors, sons on antaues , mephestion of the blood angels etc etc
Mixed geneseed chapters like the carchardons seem to throw up some useful astartes too

And of course at some point in the overall storyline gw will have cawl unleash the traitor geneseed mars still has to ramp up astartes production
Guilliman is against it but maybe hed feel different if he knew of loyalist chapters tgat are suspecred trsitor geneseed l8je red scorpions etc

Yeah even as primarch and overlord hes gotta tread carefully
Theres the church on his back , primaris issues , his new codex playing trying to reduce corruption ( the rich and corrupt never give up power easily ) , his meddling with historical and temporal recording , his secret empire shame , xenos allies , reclaiming old ultramar , fear of legion building
And of course cawl ...... hes become a crutch and guilliman knows it, his pressure to be ruler of mars , his possible techheresies and the effect itd have on the mechanicus so many issues with him

He has too much Story-Breaker power you would think, but hell Horus took him down who's just a regular primarch. Which leads me into saying I don't think these fools would chance crossing Guilliaman. He Could personally lay waste to all of them. So I don't see this civil war thing going anywhere.

Belisarius cawl is so weird he has like a clone of himself in Roboutes armory and Roboute doesn’t even know where he is, he can’t put him as chief fabricator because mars is independent, Roboute is playing like 9D chess

Yeah hes an odd fish but damn he gets results , keeps pushing bobby g to try and get him into the top slot no matter the consequences but bobby g knows better than to dabble with mars

Interesting point from the latest iron hands book voice of mars that when astartes are sent there to become techmarines ( 30 years training!) The oaths they take to preserve mars secrets apparently make the super secretive deathwatch oaths and secrecy ' look like a nod and handshake in comparison' !!

Horus at that stage was an avatar to the big 4 itl be intereting too see how the new heresy novels end......last one had horus meet emps on astral plane and like a boss told him that ' im comming....run '

Yeah guilliman is virtualy in another leauge one on one to almost anything outside of a greater demon plus like 50% of all astartes look to him as their sire not to mention the very powerful ultramar empire , the non ultramarine primaris all hero worship him , the custodes and sisters of silence have his back , the sheer worship he commands in the guard and general population etc
All that said its still a tightrope he walks at times
