Turns out that new Thunderhawk...it ain't plastic. New post on the community site showing off a preproduction test:

Sure, it looks fine and is aesthetically more in line with newer designs... But it's resin so it'll probably still run ~$500 which is a big "fuck that noise" for me.

it looks almost the same as the old, but is it actually effective this time on the table to lol

Is it that one or the follow up that Alpha Legion infiltrates the Raven Guard? It's like SF infiltrating the Rangers, haha.

To be fair itd be hard ..they are an enigma inside a riddle situated ina maze
But they are soooo fucking boss
-use lots of normal people as their agents and specialists
-disinformation and infiltration masters
-the odd shit with them all looking alike
Id love a few books on them


And the.mentors ..those guys seem like the perfect anti alpha legion force
Or the wolves..if i recall somehwere the wolves are the one force they cant infiltrate,something about always being smelt out

Very limited
Their unique gene seed gifts mean they act as a force multiplier whereever they go hence they work in very small units...like a reverse deathwatch they go places and suggest improvments ,take command of imp guard etc
A lot of their force is stood down studying etc...they are basicaly the warrior scholars of the imperium

They also test new weapons (yep the mechanicus does innovate a little) and have an elite unit that works as anti insurgency force
 
Damn it, GW, get your shit together! The new steampunk dorfs are up for pre-order today and the frigate and admiral are already out of stock. At least we know they are a regular stock item and should be back sooner rather than later, but whoever is in charge of estimating production numbers over there has really buggered the last couple releases.

do you got any lore snippets on them. i didnt know they go an talk to the DW
