Sam's BBQ in Austin.

Dear God is this place haggard. I've never seen an establishment more run down. There's a tree growing out of the window. There's constantly a group of dudes (black dudes if you're racist) smoking weed underneath a tarp beside the building.

I went once before I left for NC, part of my bbq tour of Texas. Sam straight up walked inside from smoking a blunt underneath the tarp and then started handing me cuts of meat with his bare hands.

Place is way past its prime. It used to be an Austin staple and was home to late night college drunkards because it was open till like 2am. Now it's a wasteland that is still somehow open.

I live in the bay area, if anyone wants to do a BBQ at my place you have to be vetted to make sure you're not some crazy loon in real life. Shit I made a friend playing Fifa 17 online and he came over to my place and we smoked a bowl.
