It probably appears that way because it's a lot of the same regular posters talking shit to each other. And yeah, the way it's always been is that newbs tend to get hazed a bit. But you'd be surprised, most in there welcome new people and after a couple insults or two.. if you can deal with it, you'd blend right in.

I thought it would get better after the election cause people are heated right before. Forgot there is still a month or two of gloating and usually slow on news / content after. I think 2017 will get better. Less broad threads about nothing and more current events to talk about.
