Hardyharhar.

All it is is some spare AR mags, a set of level IV plates, and the carrier for said plate.... and an AR upper (non-FFL item so that shouldn't be an issue) and the small parts (all the pins and springs and shit).

Wonder if the small parts is the issue and it like pops on a metal detector/X-ray machine like a bomb or some shit.

I don't know how often packages like that get picked up but it wouldn't be surprising. Any particular reason for the body armor?

He had a spare set? He had upgraded from the super heavy Level IV stuff that AR500 has to a lighter but just as good set of plates and didn't want the AR500 stuff just laying around so to speak. I mostly bought the carrier from him for training mag swaps and such and the plates are a bonus.

Part of it is cause I was going to take either a Tim Kennedy or a Cris Costa class and they suggest having SOME armor so you get used to moving in it and the restrictions of the extra weight and such.

A course like that sounds kinda fun.
 
Training is a ball. One of my favorite parts of the job is all of the training no matter the scenarios whether it’s ALERRT or GAGE or whatever. I’m a tactical combat care medic as well so all aspects of it. I get involved with everything I can, every certification possible.

Costa and Kennedy are both damn good teachers but I know Costa's at least SOUNDS a tad less physically taxing.

He (Costa) sets you up in some local lake cabin resort and you have dinner at his ranch like every night.

Kennedy? Has you doing BJJ in full kit with mock weapons and shit and his Ranger/Green Beret buddies fucking with you the whole time.

Do you have an insight on like Costa, Sentinel Concepts, or Tim Kennedy's programs?

None of them are cheap so I want to know if they're worth the price some of them are at.

I would definitely, for sure, avoid that kind of interaction with Tim Kennedy. That motherfucker is absolutely unright in the head, in a lot of ways.

Do you have any specific goals with your training? If you want to improve your shooting or vehicle operations then I would recommend Costa from what I know.

Just general shooting improvement in general. Handgun most of all but some improvement in rifle I would not be opposed to either.
