Blake Crouch had a take on something like that last year, and it's going to be made into a movie and series. It was a page-turner but kind of dumb, IMO. Don't know what changes they'll make, but in the book, people could go back to a vivid memory and then change things going forward, but people would sort of remember the changes and get sort of fucked up (they called it "false memory syndrome").

Similar to The Butterfly Effect?

3rd planet is one of my top 5 modest mouse, great album
"Everything that keeps me together is falling part, I've got this thing that I consider my only art, fucking people over"
Goddamn Brock is an amazing lyricist. Cowboy Dan tho? Modest Mouse is such a good band to do drugs to.
I knew he was going to be a star back with derrick comedy
Mystery Team was so fucking funny. As far as artists go. I consider Glover the best artist alive imo. The absolute astounding work on so many different platforms.

Lmao I remember when I listed his awards in so many different mediums and that leech @Devout Pessimist tried explaining that it wasn't impressive.

And to a lesser degree:

Anyone else notice the instances of practical effects/stunts, less green screen (outside of superhero stuff), and long takes rather than choppy trash started coming back because of what Miller did with Fury Road and what Keanu and his former stunt double did with John Wick

Late on the fun but just had to say this... I rewatched Fury Road the other day and I swear to God I would pay like 100 bucks to be able to watch it in the theater again. The tornado scene and the one where Max swings between vehicles on a pole legit took my breath away even on a shitty IFE screen.

I don't care much for having a big screen and/or a killer 7.1 setup at home but I feel like I could fork the cash for those things, watch that movie and nothing else and it would have been worth it.

Then I would walk away like Thanos and live in a field somewhere. With lots of credit card debt.

What is your favorite "viral outbreak" film?

Outbreak obviously is one of them.

Contagion was rather dull.
any other films stick out?

yea, I suppose those films do.

I'm one of the rarities. I thought 28 Weeks later was better
I did too. The last third of Days when they're in the mansion with the military dudes was meh.
