should I go Geissele SSA or the flat face SD-C version? I have the flat face one and love it but this Mk18 I’m trying to go pure practical on it. Hence why I’m doing a flash hider instead of brake and grabbing a Unity Tactical Fusion hub so I can mount my light and shit more compactly.

Preparing Q3 staff reviews and it's amazing the type of nonsense people rate themselves. There's 5 categories, and you rate yourself say, 1/5 (though not so simple). Some of the worst employees give themselves all the top scores with the most absurd explanations for them. Now by the 31st I have to tell them "sorry but 2, 3, 2, 2, 2". I don't understand how people can be so deluded. Do they actually believe they are high performing exceptional employees? Or do they just go sky high to see what happens? I take back what I said about Bernie, Mitch for President man lol.

Part of the problem is some bosses don’t want to piss off employees so they aren’t honest with them and how bad they are so they start believing their own shit.

That's definitely not me lol, but that might have been what happened. When I got the promotion back in Oct., I picked up new duties, new team, etc, and the last person may have been exactly like that. When I did mid year it was for my old team. The worst person on this team, put in the second highest scores lol what? Say, "5,5,3,4,5". Leadership? 5. Someone who leads nothing, that I already had to issue a warning for client records aging faster than Biden on her laptop, who asks questions she should have learned a year ago, gave herself a 5/5 in Leadership. I almost feel like I'm being trolled, or tested, or both. In two weeks I'll be giving her a 2 in that category, and almost gave her a 1. How can the disconnect from reality be this extreme? Seems like it takes a very high level of delusion to buy into that.

Yeah, I always thought grading myself was a useless exorcize.

And a side note. I used to work with a guy who's wife was obsessed with moving down south for some reason (Housing prices and real estate taxes around Philly are very low compared to NJ, NY and NE so I never got the appeal).

Anyway we have an office in Tennessee and he kind of hinted that he wanted to get moved there but there wasn't a need at the time.

So his wife keeps giving him shit and he starts looking for jobs in Florida. He finds a good paying job in Jacksonville.

Well he clashed with his boss right away and she fired him within a month.

The only job he could find that met his income needs was PWC in Tampa so he had like a 2 hour commute each way, I think he ended up renting an apartment in Tampa at one point because as you're aware PWC tax people can work some long nights.

Fast forward a year and a need in Tennessee opens up in our company and this guys former protégé gets promoted and shipped down to Tennessee.

He got tired of the commute and is back in Philly working for a small regional firm
