Something went wrong with one of the gifts I gave, I think...

Nice tickets to a show, and had to drop a pretty big hint to one of the people in order to prevent it from being spoiled and to save the calendar date. So I gave them the tickets, and the other person didn't act surprised or even happy, despite it being something I know both of them really wanted to see together. I was expecting it to be a really big hit, and it got the full nope. Gonna be an awkward dinner tonight, but I won't know exactly why. Good times.

Went from Orlando to Montréal to Halifax to St Johns, could not land so plane back to Halifax, 1 hr sleep, to Toronto then (after being told all flights cancelled) managed to finagle our way on a flight to St. John’s. 34 hours non stop good times. On the bright side customer profitability and pricing strategy for the new year is updated :)

We finally made it but now no car seat lol. Could have been worse if we only showed up tomorrow and had to do another day of this.

You better have a fantastic Christmas to make it worth this

They had already planned to see it on their own time and calendar date and you effectively ruined their show by dropping your dumb hint.

my second experience with TDS in real life. I was walking the dog and there's some lady in a driveway and she is screaming at some guy. She's defending one of the clintons while yelling something about having heard about Trump for three days. She also had an empty dog leash in her hand.

Just prior to that I saw the old man with the old dog of our neighborhood. He's 80 something and the dog is a 16 year old terminally ill lab. He told me he just yelled at some lady because she was complaining the old dog wasn't on a leash. I wonder if it was the same lady and getting yelled at by the old guy set her off to yell at the younger guy.

Friends or family

Being Bilingual > single language speaking, ignorant cunts.

Dont know how I would have handled that situation if that happened to my relatives

Even if they were monolingual....like most of the people in the world, those people should be able to visit other places without fear of being targeted. And it's more common now (per their experience) and not necessarily common elsewhere. For instance, I've never been chastised for speaking English in Europe, Latin America, or the Middle East.

a month ago i asked my mum what she'd like for christmas other than perfume, i hate getting perfume as it just ends up collecting dust with the rest of them and seems kind of a shitty gift to me

so i gave her what she asked for - a portable CD player/DAB radio

i gave her a boombox and CDs for christmas and i'm left wondering, what year is this?!

Do they even make CDs anymore ?

My black Asian grandfather told me he was chastised in Sweden for speaking French, by a blue haired dwarf wearing a pussy hat.

Man, fuck Liberals.
