Not Haram blahblah but this looks so fucking good

I'm glad Scorcese bashed Marvel movies. They're just awful. Complete snooze fests.

I would not doubt shorter people live longer. Being extremely tall really does become a hindrance as one gets older and weaker
How much shorter and how extremely tall are you talking about? I'm just curious.

Just from experience. Seeing my grandfather have problems when he got older because of his height. He was 6'6 though and went through some aggressive chemo.

On a side note. Cannabis saved his life imo. Just wish he started taking it earlier in his chemo treatments

CONFIRMED: Socialism leads to stronger hair than Capitalism.

Lol maybe when that guy makes a blockbuster movie he can talk. Haters I tell ya...
I like Scorcese movies but I honestly don't think I've ever sat down and been like "you know what.... I'm going to re-watch XYZ". It's more of a happenstance thing that I see them multiple times.

I've watched the Godfather series multiple times, THAT SERIES ONLY HAS 2 MOVIES STFU! I've watched plenty of other mob movies and shit multiple times but I think I've watched Goodfellas maybe twice, Departed once, Taxi Driver once (and I own the damn thing on DVD), Raging Bull once.

Marvel movies or simple action movies though? Tons of times mostly cause they're easy, usually over in like 1.5 hours to maybe just under 2 and sprinkle enough humor throughout that it's a fun watch.

Like this movie I've seen multiple times by choice and always laugh:

So popularity = good? Drake and Taylor Swift are extremely popular. Do you think they make great music?

So apparently Stephen Miller is an actual confirmed racist.

SPLC got his emails from a while back and he communicated with Richard Spencer, Peter Brimelow, and Pamela Geller.

Nice.

No, but I feel the same way about Scorcese's comments on the Marvel movies the way I do about Coppola's as well. Granted, I had a stronger worded response for Coppola.

Scorcese makes great films. But I never seek them out when I sit there an am like "I want to watch a movie" at 7pm on a Friday night. I know it's a personal taste thing but lot's of his movies while great are a bit too rough/hard (topic/theme wise) for a spur of the moment watch.

Coppola though can take the Godfather Part III with his daughter's shitty performance in it, shine it up real nice, turn that son of a bitch sideways and stick it up his candy ass. Fucking jabroni motherfucker

I was being sarcastic. I love Scorsese.

Taylor Swift is ok I guess. My toddler likes her stuff.

To be fair I will sit and watch it when I was living with my folks and happened across it on like AMC or something but I don't have, well, TV anymore... all my shit is through streaming services so I watch what I wanna watch is why I say I'd never like seek out to watch it.

But at the same time I'll watch The Wire start to finish 1 time a year.

Yea. I hardly seek anything out anymore unless I hear it is exceptional. 95% of Netflix is utter crap

The majority of my watching now is on Hulu.

King of the Hill for the motherfucking win.

Or stuff on Amazon, Amazon has a better libraries of like documentaries and shit. Have one on Scotch and another on finding Genghis Khan's tomb.

I only keep Netflix for Trailer Park Boys.

Can't find a better article that isn't protected by a pay wall, but:

https://www.alternet.org/2019/11/ri...ever-talked-with-roger-stone-about-wikileaks/

Prosecutors in Trump ally Roger Stone’s federal trial closed their presentation of evidence today with testimony from Trump campaign staffer and Paul Manafort co-conspirator Rick Gates. Gates testified that then-campaign head Paul Manafort asked him to maintain contact with Roger Stone on potential WikiLeaks disclosures (that is, on WikiLeaks’ release of Democratic documents obtained by Russian intelligence agents in their campaign to damage candidate Hillary Clinton), with Manafort making it clear to Gates that he would be updating Trump with what Gates learned.

Gates also testified on ”brainstorming sessions” within the Trump campaign to strategize how to best use an upcoming WikiLeaks document release. And prosecutors closed Gates’ testimony with his recounting of the moments after a phone call between Donald Trump and Roger Stone: After ending the phone call with Stone, Trump “indicated more information would be coming” from WikiLeaks.

I still hate this word but that's called collusion, folks.
This is really of no consequence unless they can prove Trump knew the source of the stuff coming from WikiLeaks. Not being snarky. Just verifying if the Trump-Russia link is established or not.
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered--I'm catching up on the thread--but is it known that Trump knew who was supplying WiliLeaks?

I find the Marvel characters have the depth of puddles. The dialogue is forgettable. Watching cities get destroyed in CGI fights between cliched good guys and bad? Yawn.

*shrug*

People like what they like.

For example, I might be the only motherfucker on the planet that wants a third one of these:

Why? Cause Zeus can't fucking die and having Neeson play Zeus and Fiennes play Hades was THE SHIT.

lol it's still there. What are we supposed to settle?
What's to settle in Seattle,
Got you blinkin' in Lincoln,
Smacked your willy in Philly,
Having fits in Pitts,
Gone all-in in Austin,
To tally hassles in Tallahassee?
