Kathleen Clark says Giuliani's action was much worse than Hunter Biden's. Do you agree? If so, why?

From my standpoint, Hunter Biden, Freeh, and Giuliani should all have stayed away from the Popoviciu case. Popoviciu was obviously trying to buy VP Biden's influence by retaining Hunter Biden. Likewise, he was trying to buy Trump's influence by retaining Giuliani.

Finally, the CNN report doesn't detail any of the actions that Hunter Biden took to try to help Popoviciu. I have no doubt that CNN is not aware of all of those actions, but I wonder if some are public but didn't air in that particular report.

More broadly my view is that, in the vast majority of cases, the US should not take sides in the internal affairs of other nations. Whether or not the DNA was overstepping its authority is a matter for Romanians to decide.

When a super majority of the population start to care about creating a sustainable health care system or lead-free drinking water more than which bathroom a trans person uses?
Look man, where do you think we need to go, who is already there, and who is going to fight you tooth and nail to prevent it from happening? I *might* be able to convince a conservative person that wealthy elites are screwing his children out of a decent future, and I *might* convince him that he’s been pointed to the wrong people (such as immigrants) as enemies when they are really allies with the same goals, but if drag queen story hour on the other side of the country is all he can think about, then I’m better off trying to persuade someone else.

I cannot stand in for the inimitable Mr. Sketch. However, I suspect Mr. Sketch is referring to the sense that national sovereignty is being eroded. I have traveled the world and I have noticed the influence of international capital in places that used to be free of it. With few barriers to international capital, many feel it inevitable that a small group of financiers will be able to control the world. There is evidence to support this hypothesis. Consider the shift in diet among the Japanese as western fast food companies have ramped up their sales. Okinawa is famous for its longevity diet; now the youth guzzle soft drinks and munch on McDonald's beef patties. If the Japanese government had prevented McDonald's from entering its market, this would not have happened. Where do national borders start and end? Are we moving closer in some sense to a one-world government and a surveillance state? How much power could evil, well-financed actors have over our lives via foreign investment and associated purchasing of propaganda?

He’s Canadian. He already has lead-free drinking water and a sustainable healthcare system. The conservatives there wouldn’t dare jeopardize that. Hell I don’t know much about Canadian politics but it’s very likely I’d consider myself conservative there.

I’m not sure if many Canadians realize that the Republican party have basically become cartoonish supervillains.

except I bet @Sketch is aware... I mean he’s basically a cartoonish supervillain himself...
