War Room Lounge v76: I put it to you, Greg: isn't this an indictment of our entire American society?

I would have voted for a "useful idiot" option. I doubt she's in cahoots in any way, but she's a propaganda repeating machine.

Yeah but you have no plat anymore. No more polls or voting for you anymore.

Saw the last 30 minutes of Pet Sematary (original). It's really crazy (a) how shitty pretty much every Stephen King adaption ever has been, with the obvious exceptions, and moreso (b) how remarkably shitty movies, and especially horror movies, used to be compared to today, and most so (c) how idiotic it is for people to say that cinematic quality used to be better than it is now. In terms of directorial quality, today's flicks are so much better - in every genre. The shitty action flicks of today compared to the shitty action flicks of yore are artistic delights.
Really, I think action movies on the 90’s were more enjoyable. Take Heat for example, do you think anything nowadays compares? I know you said shitty action movies, but Steven Seagal movies are a guilty pleasure of mine.

Mad Max: Fury Road was better than the original Mad Max movies imo.

Oh, and Jurassic Park 1 just looked so much better than the new ones but maybe those are exceptions.

What do you think of the new It vs the 90’s It? Not the production value obviously but I think the original Pennywise worked better than the jumpscare Pennywise.

Not that I know of. It's funny how insurance rates drop off a cliff here at 25. Until then I was paying $1800 per bike per year (although they were all "sports" bikes over 600cc, and there was only two insurers that would insure me at all). Now it's a couple of hundred (less for the ones I ride less than 8000kms a year). I don't exactly have a spotless driving record either.

That's the thing that really kills me, I do have a spotless record( for many years now).
I almost wish that I hadn't asked, but thanks.

Damn, just noticed. @Fawlty you look naked. Buy the plat stat.

He didn't buy it ever, it was given to him. IT was recently taken from him though. He will never get it back, whether he tries to buy it or not.

Why was it given and why was it taken?

It is not appropriate to ask me things like this out in the open and in specific threads pertaining to certain topics. We shall stay on point, and deliver the truth and facts to our contemporaries who are attempting to sway the story another way. Feel free to speak to me in private.

Hmm. Come to think of it, I'm not sure how many of my past indiscretions count anymore in terms of insurance.
I've got one "Speed Dangerous" charge which is actually a criminal record though.

Do they seize the bike for a charge like that, over here any thing 50kms over the posted limit and it a roadside seizure, any the higher the speed infraction, the longer they keep. I believe it;s a criminal charge here as well.
