Not sure. And I love this guy to death, the best friend do anything for you type, but I don't think he could have ever explained the difference. He paid half tuition to go there, and got a free dorm room with the co-captain of the team during their innagural year for the hockey program

lmao My buddy had his bachelor party in Vegas, and there were 5 of us heading down to the Strip for it. We lived there, but figured we'd pay the strip prices to show him the real experience since he didn't live there.

Anyway, as we're driving we end up cruising next to two guys wearing hoodies - hoods up. For whatever reason, they started staring and pointing at us. So, of course, the weak guy in our group is the one who starts mad dogging them back. My friend "John" was in the middle seat in the back, and was begging him not to start a fight. It was suppose to be a fun night, and he knew if this dipshit started something he'd be the one to finish it.

Of course, the little shithead doesn't care and continues on. I was driving, so I was only half paying attention. We get to a stop light and they had pulled behind us. Then someone in our car shouted "doors doors" and when I looked in the mirror I realized both of those guys were out of their car and walking towards us. I had just bought the car so I was worried they were going to break a window. I put the car into neutral, pulled the hand brake and took off my seatbelt in what felt like a single movement. But by the time I was out of the driver seat, my buddy John had already pushed everyone in our backseat out and was already approaching them.

I got out just in time to see one of the fellas from the other car with his arms open (in that inviting "bring it" pose that people do with they want to posture) asking "Do you got a problem?" And John immediately responded "yeah I got a problem with" and then he said "YOU" at the same time he threw a cross, sending this guy against his car hood. He hit him a few more times until the other guy hits John. At this point, the first guy had gotten away and was walking at me so I hit him (not the bravest thing I've ever done but fuck him) and then started walking towards the other guy as he retreated. At this point I heard the first fella from behind say something like "what 6 on 2?" and I said "There's 5 of us and only two of us are hitting you."

At that point there was a pause, the light had turned green awhile before, and we all had decided to ourselves we should probably get away from the scene. We had already been drinking (yep - and fwiw this is behavior I'd pay for about a year later - and regret now) and getting arrested for being drunk and disorderly, as well as assault and DWI, probably wasn't going to make for the best bachelor party.


Funny addition to that story, the bachelor didn't get to throw any punches (or just wouldn't - the opportunity was there) and was feeling down on himself. So later that night, when the party moved back to our house and more people showed up, he took it upon himself to fall asleep - and then suddenly wake up and clock the first person he saw. Unfortunately he was so tired and drunk that he tripped over our coffee table at the same time he threw the punch and just fell right into a headlock.

Living in Vegas was great.
 
Dang that post was a lot longer that I thought it was in my head.

Sounds about right. I could always spot a veteran bouncer in my days. I always had the feeling they were a cop or ex cop. Too much to risk at that point. Usually it's a guy acting hard cuz his buddies are there. I was that guy sometimes and that's the only part of my past that brings me shame.

Scada picking on that guy for his rusty old roof fascia just killed me. He was powerless to defend lol.

Also, one asshole pic was already too many.

Mine was due to golf, except I wasn't playing. About the same age though. I got hit right between the eyes by a golf ball. Woke up with my brother standing over me laughing.
