Angry d-bags just can't stand it when you refuse to take them seriously.

No problem! I love the "Is that all for you?" Part. A timeless classic.

Good God, no.

I don't even know why they keep trying. T3(which is underrated) failed. TS(Which sucked harder than anyone could imagine with that cast) failed. TG was a mess that failed to get any meaningful returns.

When are they gonna get the message that nobody cares about "The Terminator" franchise anymore? Then again, I could be wrong. The "Jurassic Park" franchise made a nice haul, despite me thinking that people were over dinosaurs eating people, so you never know...

yeah, I was genuinely excited for Terminator Salvation.

seeing it the cinema high as fuck was great but in retrospect it was a let down

didn't do the future world we saw in T1 & 2 justice in the slightest

Suicide is Gen Z's second-leading cause of death, and it's a worse epidemic than anything millennials faced at that age

The suicide rate among people aged 10 to 24 increased 56% between 2007 and 2017, according to a new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The increase in youth suicide has also sped up recently, according to the report. Between 2007 and 2013, the suicide rate for young people grew at an average of 3% per year; between 2013 to 2017, that number shot up to 7% per year.

For children aged 10 to 14, the suicide rate tripled between 2007 to 2017 after years of decline. For teens between 15 and 19, the rate increased by 76% in that same time period.

Suicide was the second-leading cause of death for people aged 10 to 24 in 2017.

Why Gen Zers might be facing a mental health crisis even worse than millennials did
The new data suggests Gen Z — or the generation of Americans born during 1997 onward — might be seeing a mental health crisis even worse than that faced by the older millennial generation.

Since 2014, millennials (or people who turned 23 to 38 in 2019) have seen a 47% increase in major-depression diagnoses. "Deaths of despair," or dying from suicide, alcohol, and drugs, increased in the millennial population in the last 10 years, and they are more likely to report feeling lonely than other generations.

For Gen Z, the mental illness crisis continues. In 2017, 13% of teens reported having experienced at least one major depressive episode in the past year, Pew Research Center reported. In 2007, when more millennials were teens, that number was just 8%.

first truly digital generation. Pew Research Center found 45% of teens aged 13 to 17 said they use the internet "almost constantly." Over-use of social media can cause loneliness, depression, and anxiety, the Anxiety and Depression Association of America reported.

Gen Z teenagers told Business Insider the constant social-media use was driving a longing for interpersonal connection.

"I feel like we have too much of a reliance on technology," Jess Gallo, 19, said. "And we don't really appreciate the value of books or interpersonal communication."
Thread worthy issue, very alarming. Technology is part of the problem here but it seems exceedingly unlikely that you'll be able to successfully unplug kids from the internet anytime soon.

I wonder what factors predict better outcomes here. My guess would be at least semi-regular contact with extended family could help as would regular church attendance and engaging in extracurricular activities like sports or music.

The opening scene in T1 where he’s butt naked and walks up to those 3 punks is better film that every other film put together and multiplied.

“Wash day tommorow!”

“Nothing clean?”

“Nothing clean right”

the "re-enactment" of that scene they did in genysis was so horrible it's like they didn't even try

Ditto on the church in my opinion but seriously all the technology and being glue to the phone is killing people. That social aspect our monkey brain needs is not being met. I’ve watched many documentaries about chimpanzee and read a lot about them and the ones who are kept in solitary like at animal testing factories suffer such mental damage they can never be the same ever again. Even when introduced to other chimps they can’t handle it and they go into a corner and stare at the wall. These smart phones are turning a generation into depressed suicidal people. And to add to it everything on Instagram etc is garbage. Fake ass fake tits, all the semi porn, the rich people who got rich being obnoxious assholes like the Kardashian’s. People are poisoning their brains.

Pizza math is the most confusing. "Xtra large, 3 topping for 9.99 + tax" - "thank you, your total is 27.47"

I don't know what the solution is and truth be told I am hardly innocent of that myself. I spend way too much time here and pissing around on Facebook and Instagram. I don't even enjoy social media that much, its just mildly entertaining enough to stave off boredom but also incredibly low in terms of time investment and effort which is why I burn as much time as I do on it.

This is nothing, when you truly see the conniption of man in it's most naked state you are within a geometrical realm of the abstract flow where therein lies the musk.... The contrast of such a state in accordance with the relaxation of the body is one of the few things that makes life so meaningful when a connection is formed. it enhances all of ones senses, the vision, the sounds, the sensation, and most importantly the taste....

It feeds into one part of the brain, the quick reward part, all the images, all the ass and tits, and the drama etc, but at the same time deprives you of real connections with people and much like porn, depletes your serotonin levels.

I have no idea what the cure is either, we can't just ban it, it's part of everybody's life now.

Lol @SBJJ at least we agree on baby food, @Cubo de Sangre and the atrocious Dem response/position to foreign imperialism.

That's enough for a beer :)
