If it goes back to live action?
<{natewhut}>

Yeah, end of the last season with Lahey before the actor passed away the entire group eat mushrooms before getting arrested then become cartoons in the jail cell.

I could never get into Schitt's creek. Watched several episodes during its first season, and it just could not grab me at all. And I usually love Eugene Levy stuff

Yeah, it doesn't hit its stride until the second season.

But I think that's most sitcoms. Even the best ones - Seinfeld, The Office, 30 Rock - had awkward and unfavorably received first seasons.

For reference, here are the Rotten Tomato scores from Season 1 to Season 2 of those shows:
Seinfeld - 72% --> 100%
The Office - 82% --> 100%
30 Rock - 75% --> 90%
Parks&Rec - 67% --> 88%

Schitt's Creek - 61% --> 100%

I'm pretty confident you'll enjoy it in its second season.

Only good sitcom that comes to mind that is good in its first season is Community, which opened with 90% in its first season before getting up to 100% in its second season.
I dislike the Office as well.

@Lead @Ruprecht what happened to the ukraine thread? All I see is volume 2 which is locked.

Edit: Sorry, I see now. It was started by one of the trolls I have on ignore.

That explains why I couldn't find it despite being the OP on it. Turns out I wasn't the OP, but rather the second post after a moron.

Dallas cop guilty of murder

Thank goodness

The second greatest team sport is about to start it's regular season.

Dallas cop guilty of murder

Thank goodness

It's one of those things where it was either catastrophically shitty or just shitty. Absolutely no cheering "fuck yeah" feelings like would have been the case if the Kelly Thomas cops, Tamir Rice cops, or that cop that killed the Arizona dude in the hotel had been found guilty. Those guys were predatorily breaking police protocol to murder innocent people in the line of duty.

So it feels hollow, I guess.

@K1levelgrappler posted this in the Ukraine thread, but it needs to be posted here as well since it is an unexpected challenger to Lara Trump's map tweet for "yeah, you shouldn't be using that to brag."

Margin of Error is probably about 2.17%

My old roommates are fucking morons.

Talking about who is going to collect the rent to go pay it today blahblah. One person "I can't do it cause I don't have a care" which is perfectly fine, the place they have to pay is like 10 miles away from the house so walking is out of the question and the bus routes in that town are trash. Another "I work 11-5 so I can't do it".... um, the rental office opens at 10... wtf?

Not surprised Parks and Rec made that huge jump. Leslie's character was completely rewritten going into season 2 to make her less ditzy and obnoxious.

I really like Parks and Rec, but to this day I still cannot get through the first season.

Yeah, Ron was too iirc. Seems pretty standard, though.

Only show that I know of that started out hot was Community, which had a 90% in S1 before its 100% in S2 and S3.

Parks and Rec is a weird show to me in that I can't watch like whole episodes of it, but watch like "X-character best moments" I could watch all day

Entertainment 720 is still one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in a sitcom. Aziz Ansari killed it on that show in general imo
