No, but I also can't imagine losing a forum bet then hiding for a month just to avoid paying off. Recently, a guy around here ghosted me over $10 and that is pathetic; as poor as he seems to be at least there is real money involved so it has a sort of tangible payoff for him, but holy fuck what kind of bankrupt are you that you can't afford to pay off on a sig bet?

Even in Minnesota, so often if you get out fishing, the shoreline is nothing but houses and docks unless you're on a tiny lake scarcely more than a pond (and not know for being good fishing or someone will find a way to build a 600k cabin on it)

It's just a 45 minute drive from here to the middle of nowhere, another day's travel to get to the arse end of nowhere. No light pollution whatsoever. I was with some Japanese people a while back who had never seen the stars and I just can't imagine it. I have a feeling that living in urban areas contributes to the popularity of the flat earth idea but that's not based on any data.

Yeah, I have been there, too, it's not too far. Halfway to Whistler. Pretty new, too. We went to Whistler in summer 2014, and it actually was not listed anywhere.

Something that crossed my mind recently. I love how, depending on which shitter is venturing in here at the time, you'll get called out for tagging someone that doesn't want to be a part of the conversation because it's rude or a call out or whatever... but you'll also get called out for NOT tagging them because it's "talking behind their backs" (unless they have undercover operatives monitoring this thread).

And if it is true it's handled in a partisan manner and something a mod shouldn't be doing anyway I think.

I would think a mod's role would be to dissuade conflict between posters, not actively encourage it.
