Huh? I've taken up the task of defending the left? Why do you think making stuff up like that is an acceptable discussion tactic?

Hmm....

The left is less tolerant of white nationalism, which is Atheist's main issue.
They're not. The right just claims that the left wants open borders and to put foreigner's needs ahead of those of citizens as part of a dishonest outreach. Free speech is similar--a core value of the liberal left but something that right-wing propagandists dishonestly claim the left generally opposes.
What are you talking about? I think you're egregiously misunderstanding the argument if you think "the left" has an anti-scientific view of those issues.

There are more, too. I think you should admit fault.

Breezing through the obviously disingenuous stuff.
I posted nothing disingenuous.

the media checks stuff out before running with it
Except there are many recent examples of MSM failing to do that in front-page stories, including just off the top of my head:

  • Washington Post failing to report proper context in the the Covington High situation
  • CNN's false reporting on the Senate allegedly investigating a Russian bank
  • This week, The New York Times failing to report that the new alleged Kavanaugh victim has no recollection of the alleged incident and neither do her friends.

It was because Wohl was a true believer in the kind of hyperpartisan nonsense that people like you and Inga spread that he flopped
What "hyperpartisan nonsense" have I "spread"?

Even if someone is dishonorable enough to attempt such a thing, what are the odds that someone who tries to would find someone else willing to go along with it (and find someone else before they ask someone who is more honorable, who then reports them)?
Depends who the "someone else" is.

Sure but you can't live on it.
True but there's still swaths of land that can be owned in Utah that are not near major metropolitan centers like SLC or St George.

Hell, my dad owns like 40 acres outside Elko, Nevada.

Off this topic but buggerfuck, some bullshit Soldiers of Odin chapter is starting up in my hometown.

I've been to Switzerland and Norway, mind you.

Unless you have a serious boner for bison (which are spectacular, to be fair), I can't imagine getting anything out of Wyoming and Montana that you wouldn't get from Norway. And you'll experience exactly zero culture and, if you're not careful, may end up becoming dumber.

Had to google Soldiers of Odin. Thought it would be a pretentious biker club.

The truth is much worse.

Anyone talking about visiting Montana definitely needs to float the big hole river fly fishing. Very beautiful scenery to pass by, decent fishing, and the guide you'll get from most outfitters will be quite the character. One of the few times I'd ever advocate using a guide (mainly because they have the rafts and I've never owned one)

Oh, I definitely have a spontaneous boner for bison.

Mr. Crazy, let's hope for your sake that this is not the case.

That never happened.

I don't remember if Mr. IngaVov wrote "lying about sexual assault" or "lying about rape". It seems a minor quibble in context. Otherwise, of course I do think that many females have used this tactic in support of Democrats/opposition to Republicans. Do you disagree?

Then you've misinterpreted those "signs". I don't aspire for you or anyone else to perceive me in any particular way. That would be in contradiction to the pursuit of good-faith dialogue, Mr. Jack.

"It's a very effective tactic that Democrats/Democrat supporters have used before to achieve their political ends."

On Ford: the only female friend who Ford claims was present at the small gathering---who last year admitted she had no recollection of the event and never knew Kavanaugh---now says she "has no confidence" that the event happened, that Ford's classmates pressured her to change her story by threatening her reputation, and that the story "just didn't make any sense".

So there's yet another nail in the coffin. Will you be a "rationalist" (as you call it) and update your level of confidence in Ford's accusation being true?

? You have thrown around terms like "conservative movement" repeatedly without defining them in any kind of careful way. You must know that this serves to impede dialogue since many people identify themselves as "conservative" and perhaps part of such a "movement" yet don't affiliate with the particular people you're attaching them to. That's not a "baseless personal attack" against you. It's a based suggestion for you to improve.

It's also ironic because I've seen you take umbrage when other posters attack "the left" for unethical behavior. Those people are committing the same error you do. As a person who does not affiliate with a tribe (well, other than @Limbo Pete's) and who has read your posts extensively over many years, your approach and that of people such as Ben Shapiro look like two sides of the same coin: define amorphously the in-group/good guys and the out-group/bad guys, then defend and attack respectively.

Is this something that any poster can do, Mr. HereticBD? I would like to submit such a request.

Some like that liberal fruitcake @Trotsky will scoff at this but a dream of mine is to own a house in Salt Lake and own a cabin or something in Montana or Wyoming near a river that I can just go to and go fishing and shit on vacations.

Like, have a nice set up with some running water or something so not completely roughing it but be away from a lot of people.

@Crazy Diamond , , @tonni ...just for the record...

I would like to state that it was not I who invoked this acronym first in this thread.
Cool. When was the last time you attributed a random perceived negative trait to being a leftist?
If you can make it a week then we'll know you're making progress... progress, get it? ;)

PS. Babyface, Boyz II Men are the ATGs of R&B.
I can't debate that, I know almost nothing about that aspect of most forms of entertainment. I'm a little better about MMA, and I'm your man for some old school snooker nerdage, but entertainment news a la Entertainment Tonight makes my ears bleed.

I wondered if they were a lame ass LARP club. In many ways, I guess they are.

Did you guys know that the Switzerland of America is located in PA?

That's right!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Thorpe,_Pennsylvania

Jim Thorpe is a borough and the county seat of Carbon County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The population was 4,781 at the 2010 census.[7] The town has been called the "Switzerland of America" due to the picturesque scenery, mountainous location, and architecture; as well as the "Gateway to the Poconos." It is in eastern Pennsylvania about 80 miles (130 km) north of Philadelphia and 100 miles (160 km) west of New York City. This town is also historically known as the burial site for the body of Native American sports legend Jim Thorpe.

Also I may have mentioned this before but Jim Thorpe had never been to this town before they buried him there and named the town after him. They were looking to try and get some tourist $$$ so when he died they bought his remains off his widow and renamed the town.

Ohh, no. But I would if geese weren't psychopaths.

Well....I've never seen a white goose, so I might feed them. But the Canada geese? No, they are lunatics.
It ain't just the geese, mister.
'He charged me': Moose attacks jogger in Dieppe

I started finding more tragic examples so I'm going to stop before it gets depressing. You get the idea. Canada will end you if you aren't prepared. Fucking Canada. It just shows that under our ever so congenial "sorry culture", is a core of iron, forged in long Winters and Summer hurricanes. Well, those of us tough enough to survive, that is.

IT is what it is man, LOL, I think it's best we all just go with the flow and have a good time. The lines drawn in the sand can be blown away in the wind at any moment. Just have a good time.
<mma4>
No doubt. I'll be prepared for the heel turn.

This thread sucks donkey dick. It's the worst corner of Sherdog, truly pathetic libcuck circlejerk.

...which is why I'm gonna keep coming back. I'll even pretend I haven't complained about it multiple times so that people hopefully will like my posts.

That's how internally consistent my logic is.
This was very well crafted. And I think you stole that expression from me, but I will allow it for the greater good.
