Gotta Otis some tho, if that's the era

This one goes out from The Alpha to lil' Heretic

The Platoon moment was unbearably fucking cheesy, to be fair. In an already borderline unbearably cheesy movie. Not that it wasn't good art.
Have you ever watched it:

I said absolutely NOTHING wrong. And I called no one an idiot.

You seem to think the mere mention of PMs is dubb worthy. It is not my friend. I did NOT divulge anything private

And yea. I'm sure everyone in here is smart. I do not go the idiot/retard/moron route. Its stale in these parts
I've got some... bad news...

I do not want you carded, and I have vouched for you in the past. That means you are fine. I think you have read my posts wrong, and I hold nothing against you for that. But please, do not cause me unnecessary work.

I really wanted to like this movie, I really did.

I actually watched it twice thinking I missed something.

I usually love movies like this, cool as Irish vigilantes dispensing justice?? This is my type of movie, alas, this shit film was poorly executed.

And willem Defoe's character was so ridiculous and unbelievable

Talk bad about Willem Defoe one more time and see what happens to ya

What movie you talking about?

Boondock Shit

It's not the worst movie in the world. It's just severely overrated by fanboys. The sequel though...oof, just flat out embarrassing.

The documentary "Overnight" on Troy Duffy, is better than both. It's a really good doc on instant fame and fortune going straight to an egomaniac's head. This guy was called the next Tarantino before he ever shot a scene, and he believed it...and probably still believes it. He's a loon.

Lol. They made a sequel to that thing?

This will be super unpopular. But I think Reservoir Dogs is also immensely overrated

I think RD is fine for what he was working with. It's good, simply because he made the most of his limited assets. The whole movie is essentially small, simple sets with people talking, and it works. Certainly not Tarantino's best though. I look at it like I do "Following" from Christopher Nolan. A visionary working with what he had at the time. Not the best, but certainly a glimpse at a potential big talent.

I found Following great. Was something unique and very well made

Again, I'm sure extremely unpopular but I found RD to be lazy and just plain boring. And unlike other QT films. The violence seemed forced and had no impact imo
