The reason Americans are so divided and fighting over everything non stop is because of all the race/culture mixing.

We are not a melting pot of immigrants because races and cultures do not melt together and blend like that. Instead were just a bunch of pots and pans thrown together on a big ass stove thats over heating. And were all getting burned.

A little less race, and culture, mixing might help things a bit.

Twelve Monkeys, Dark City, Memento, and Minority Report are also excellent. There was even some Justin Timberlake sci-fi movie that one of my students recommended which I thought was good.
