Like my issue with using the Super Bowl numbers is what I said. Eli has won 2 as has Peyton. You mean to tell me that Brees, Rodgers, and Marino are cans by comparison cause they've only ever been to 1 or in Marino's case none?

Since we're on the football talk now, would anyone be interested in a Sherdog Warroom fantasy league? I'm sure there's something in the sports bar, but I never go to that subforum and would rather play with people I know from here.

Pick a team, one you can watch each week and preferably the home team if you're American or one others around you at work or social circle are fans of. Watch each week, don't fret about not understanding the little rules or penalties and exceptions to rules. Just focus on learning the down system and idea of each team playing field position to get to the other endzone or close enough to kick a field goal.

Drink a lot of beer.

Keep tagging others here who might be interested and we should get enough. Can figure out which platform works best. ESPN or yahoo is the default, but I've become a big fan of Sleeper lately

If there's no money involved yeah. I like to keep my money league to a single one and that's the one I'm in with a bunch of the PWD posters and @Trotsky.

Also, I request at minimum half point PPR with some bounses revolving around yardage of TDs. Like over 40 yard TD passes or over 30 yard TD receptions and 30 yard TD runs.



Also, I'm still in a closed FB group about bars/nightclub workers from my old town. Someone put up a post about losing their ID and asking people to keep an eye out for it... cause without it they can't go into a recreational pot store they like.

Yeah no money is my preference. My money leagues are all with people in person (by money I mean like 40 or 50 each. Nothing big)

If we do ESPN or yahoo it'd probably just be a generic ppr. In Sleeper I have a league I'm having some fun with the scoring to try and make it more realistic to reward football plays. Point per first down, half ppr, bonus points for bigger rushes or reception. Bonus point for over 100 yards rushing or receiving in a game. Extra half ppr for TEs.

But we can go by what everyone wants if vanilla half or full ppr or tweak things to see what happens.

We've got 5 now with me, MMAisGod, Trotsky, Gregolian, PolishHeadlock2. Should be able to fill up the rest.

I'll advertise in the first X player kneeled for the anthem thread :) should bring a good crowd

Until you're down by 10 points and only have Dany fucking Woodhead left to play and Rivers throw to him twice for like 3 yards a piece and you lose by .5 points.

Or you're Rex and are up by 40 with me only having Le'Veon Bell and the Steelers kicker to play and you get 40.5 points because of a long as fuck field goal and proceed to hate your life.

I don't mind bonus points if they make sense for stupid long TD passes/receptions/runs.

Course it makes a guy like Tyreek Hill a scoring monster too. And fuck that puto.

I'm agnostic on whether 0.5 or full PPR is better. All I know is that both are better than standard.

Deep starting rosters is where it's at.

I is. Student loans and single income

I fund my fantasy entry fees with one of my leagues winning 3 years in a row now and should be 4 unless injuries kill me. Dynasty so keep each player year after year

Qb- Russell Wilson
Rb- Gurley, Kamara, McCaffrey
Wr- Hopkins, Diggs, Kenny Golladay, Edelman
Te- Kelce

Is my starting lineup and I have depth to help. Gurley's knees worry me, but Derrick Henry or Trail Cohen is available on bench.
