You can go and confirm for yourself everything in that post. But I understand the need to attack the source. I get it, I really do.

I do agree that a large amount of product reviews are fake.
I do feel kind of sorry for people who can't figure out when reviews are being faked. It's not always completely obvious but it's also not really hard to tell which way the wind is blowing.

Dishwasher at a hipster coffeehouse circa late 90's was the worst. My employment there ended the day I got called out of the kitchen to clean the contents of a ruptured colostomy bag off the dining room floor.

I think what pissed young me off the most is the fella who the bag was attached to sat and finished his fucking spinach knish while I mopped his shit up

LOL

Would read again.

Worst job I had was working a call center for my university. We'd have to cold call alumni and ask for money. Talk about soul crushing.

Heyyyy, I did the exact same thing. I was strangely really good at it too, despite being horribly uncomfortable talking on the phone with strangers. The worst thing about those jobs (not sure how old you are and where technology was at when you did it) was the complete absence of breaks and inability to mentally prepare oneself: the second one call terminated it started ringing for another.

I tallied up my numbers at the end of the semester and I had procured just over $20,000 for the college and been paid like $1,500.

Kruse is a great follow on twitter. He dunks on D'Souza regularly and it's glorious.

The only thing is that I think D'Souza knows he's full of shit and is playing to rubes (something he's made a very lucrative career of).

33 dead in Japan due to petrol arson attacki

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-49027178

At least 33 people are dead and dozens injured after a man set fire to an animation studio in the Japanese city of Kyoto, officials say.

Police said the 41-year-old suspect broke into the Kyoto Animation studio on Thursday morning and sprayed petrol before igniting it.

The suspect has been detained and was taken to hospital with injuries.

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the incident was "too appalling for words" and offered condolences.

Kyoto Animation, known as KyoAni, produces films and graphic novels and is well regarded by fans for the quality of its productions.

Holy balls. 33 dead would be ranked the 3rd deadliest mass shooting in America, behind only the Vegas concert and Pulse nightclub, ahead of the Virginia Tech shooting.

Fuck I hope that doesn't become a trend like we feared after the France truck attack. All he needed was some gasoline and a lighter? It wasn't like some sweatshop where there weren't adequate fire escapes, was it?

I think so too but it's great to see a pro just blow him up regularly. That huckster needs to be exposed (even if it's to the small % of people who follow on Twitter).

This is correct and to his fans he seemed to go unchallenged on this shit for a long time.

Now people that follow him on twitter see him getting besmirched regularly. Not that it will detract the followers he already has but it can dissuade people who are just hearing his BS for the first time

In total? I'd guess like 35% maybe.

I think that's way high. If there's a product with like three reviews, it wouldn't surprise me if one were fake. But over the whole universe of them, I'd guess it's more like 1%.

This is barely in english...

It seems like you are saying that, upon learning of this taboo noncest, the stepmother and father purchased birth control for the 13 year old instead of a more appropriate intervention, such as therapy or having them live separately.

Is that correct?
Yes

I don't think they have sweat shops in Japan it was a manga company

<Huh2>

Fake reviews have been boosting or shafting reviews for quite some time. The big dogs always are under fire for fake reviews. Amazon always gets heat for fake reviews. Walmart had something like 50% fake reviews from a recent study. Etc. I think most large companies likely have an army of fake reviews involved with them.

TFW the things you're interested in aren't popular enough to warrant even a fake review.

Real winners aren't they?

Kinda felt like wanting to do this to the adults in the situation:

I could never be law enforcement, I think I'd get too pissed about shit like that and at minimum verbally tear into people too much.

They had a similar system. As a caller, you wouldn't even hear a dial tone, the call would just get directed to you as soon as someone picked up, and all their information would pop on your screen. You had no time to prepare. Idk what it was, but I felt like every other person I got had an Indian or Thai last name that was impossible to pronounce. My calls would be like:
me: "Hello, is this Mister..."
prompt: Somchai Srivaddhanaprabha
me: "uh...Mister...Sri-vad-ha- mister Somchai?"
