So far today I have seen a guy use the phrase "bow down to the anglo", another defend the 14 words and claim it is not a white supremecist saying, and another guy call all muslims goat fuckers. And that is just the last few hours, all different posters.

One of them also said this: "Nation states have been the historical norm for pretty much all of history," which should piss off @Limbo Pete. It's always strange to me to see people so interested in a subject (Greoric with economics and finance, Zeke with economics, and Jones with finance are other examples) who don't do any serious reading on it and are only familiar with, let's say, non-mainstream views.

Yowsah. Literally did one morning of moving and stacking hay in a loft, not a job but a favor. It was for a very good friend and that's the reason he's alive today.

Why's that? He get caught in some machinery he wouldn't have gotten out of if he was alone?

Farm dangers are legit. We literally had a farm safety day every year in school growing up. Elementary school, middle school, even highschool although by then it didn't have the awesome field trip but rather just a gymnasium presentation.

And yeah. I did it each day for about 3 weeks each summer when the two horse barns in town got their deliveries in. Me and my buddies made some rather crude jokes at 13/14/15 years old that there weren't enough Mexicans in Minnesota so they use teenage hockey players for their under the table paid jobs.

Hello Mr Vice President. How has your welching proceeded since our last correspondence? @senri

In your capacity as a senior officeholder of the waiguoren fan club, I do expect more effort out of you than in the above post. For example, you could have made reference to my promiscuous mother, as in your previous missives.

I must say, if this level of sloppiness continues, I will be forced to promote the increasingly exuberant @Sycho Sid to replace you. Mr Sid has been positively effusive in his recent enthusiasm for me, although I have noted a decided lack of welching out of him. Of course, this is nothing that cannot be remedied via a few intimate sessions with the club's resident tippler, @Limbo Pete.

@Trotsky @Fawlty
Carry on with your boundless faith in government prosecutors to take down dark-skinned males, gentleman. This will make you popular among the fan club's members. Unfortunately, Fawlty, we have a strict policy against anal sex in our fan club.

As someone who has actually practiced criminal law and handled cases specifically involving this, I am not at all worried about innocent men going down for those sort of charges. Your reservations, however well-intended, are not based on a thorough knowledge of investigation procedures for these crimes. Let's just say that it's unheard of for indictments to come down for accidentally clicking on or watching something. Which is a good thing for the reasons you specified.

Worst I did was stacking hay in a barn. It go so damn hot in the upper section. And with the hay bales so scratchy and itchy, you had to wear jeans and long sleeves.

I've done that and didn't think it was all that bad. I shoveled rock for the landscaping department of a home depot-type store too. I always kind of liked the heavy-lifting manual labor. It's the menial, stationary jobs that I couldn't/can't take. Like painting ladis fencing - yeesh!

I guess I've been pretty lucky on the job front.

Worked at a deli in HS, bounced at a couple of bars and did entry level accounting in college and coached wrestling one year after college

Did you teach the wrestlers the secret way to get out of a triangle choke?

History started in the 18th century.

Call the police immediately

It's a really strange case for you to jump to the defense of a person, and to try to create a plausible defense for despite none of us having any details other than police felt this was a serious enough case to go after felony charges for and get him extradited back to their county. Trujillo isn't some public figure some district cops would try to fabricate charges over like this and it isn't a me too accusation, it's felony charges with evidence.

From article-
Trujillo’s particular obscenity charge is defined as “a person commits wholesale promotion of obscenity to a minor if, knowing its content and character, such person wholesale promotes to a minor or possesses with intent to wholesale promote to a minor any obscene material.”

Sounds like he fully knew the porn involved underage persons, rather than your attempt to paint this as a misunderstanding and that he simply didn't personally vet the ages of the people in the sexually explicit videos.

Not accusing you of anything here other than creating significantly more assumptions to hunt out the chance a charged person is innocent than the assumptions needed at this point to assume he is probably guilty in some way involving child porn.
Good post but I think it should go further.

@waiguoren the charges on Trujillo are some combination of pornography and exploitation, felony charges with extradition. There is every reason to believe it's a very serious case. With that in mind, what you did was absolutely disgusting. You compared a probability (which you completely fabricated) of a person having happened to view an underage person in a porn video, and then criticizing Trujillo, to "throwing stones in glass houses."

What this means is that you are equivocating between intentional, horrible unlawful acts of sexual criminality and passive, unintentional viewing of something that happens to be on the web. Further, you are attempting to normalize the production and viewing of child pornography. And it's simply a natural assumption given your past of expressing desire for extremely young looking women - and talking about how ideal they are in detail, rather than saying something like "wood" or otherwise expressing attraction - that you are a seriously twisted person. We have to talk around the plainest language, but you're very obviously a fucking creep of one stripe or another. And given your opinions, you can never, ever babysit.

I mean that stacking hay is so bad I nearly put a hit on him lol.

Farm life, smh. It's honest work though.

At least 33 people are dead and dozens injured after a man set fire to an animation studio in the Japanese city of Kyoto, officials say.

Police said the 41-year-old suspect broke into the Kyoto Animation studio on Thursday morning and sprayed petrol before igniting it.

The suspect has been detained and was taken to hospital with injuries.

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the incident was "too appalling for words" and offered condolences.

Kyoto Animation, known as KyoAni, produces films and graphic novels and is well regarded by fans for the quality of its productions.

That's sickening

"State of the Internet"
I will refrain from using specific website names so this post doesn’t trip any algorithms.

  • Your favorite online shopping site now filters results to push certain brands. You can’t search by price range anymore for this reason, and there are no “simiiar items” anymore. 90% of reviews are completely fake—there’s no way to know whether the product you’re ordering is quality or not, or whether there are cheaper better options.

  • Movie review sites now only push blockbusters, “reviews” are completely politicized, reviews are changed or censored. You can’t search by audience score anymore on the most popular site. That tomato site is literally just a Dizz Knee promotion front at this point.

  • Tw_I_tter now filters out replies. Anything remotely controversial and any form of dissent hidden. The blatant censorship and political bias of this site is well documented at this point so I’ll leave it at that.

  • re_dd_it curates top posts. Shadowbanning WAY more common than you think. An absolute breeding ground of astroturfing. There is so much vote manipulation happening that most are completely unaware of, nothing that happens here is organic. There is literally nowhere to get unbiased news here anymore. This sub has taken a positive turn over the last few months, which I’m thankful for.

  • Ewe toob hiding all dissenting results now, also curating results for companies, just absolute authoritarian style censorship, banning, punishing.

  • Wick E. Pedia now being edited for proper narrative, a top notch example of how history is written by those in power. Try searching for plants that have legit medicinal value, ones that actually have multiple studies to prove their efficacy, if you want to see how bad it is. The pharmaceutical vs plant medicine situation is just very obviously manipulated there. They are also sure to always include links about conspiracy theorists being quacks every time they get the chance.

  • Every single conspiracy board online has been co-opted and has a controlled narrative, with the (improbable) exception of this one, lately. I think most of us remember a handful of go-to conspiracy sites we used to visit…they’re all partisan dumpster fires now. Absolute breeding grounds for astroturfing. I have my theories about the chans too, it’s obvious they are serving a specific purpose today, and are not organic whatsoever.

  • Most(there are very few exceptions) news sites have become entirely opinion. The cooperation with and control by alphabet agencies couldn’t be more obvious, and some of the narratives are downright comedic because of how stupid they are. They are also basically just corporate ad platform.
….

This is the state of the internet. Corporate or government criticism, creative and critical thinking, are all aggressively censored. We can’t go on like this…something’s got to give if history repeats itself. I’ve been asking myself a heavy question:

  • If private media companies have the right to censor and manipulate citizens, does that make whatever form of capitalism we’re using authoritarian and oppressive?
I don’t have a solution, and it’s certainly not communism. But this IS oppression, there’s no doubt now. Our forefathers would be rolling in their graves if they saw how interconnected business and government have become, and dismal amount of liberty that allows. We are really in some dark times; if you compare how free the internet was only 10 years ago, the reigns have been tightened drastically, it has become almost completely airtight. Literally all bases are covered at this point. Most people still think everything they see is organic, unfortunately, although a lot of people have been waking up due to the blatancy and outright aggression that we’re seeing in recent years. I noticed this sub TRIPLED in size only a few months ago, and I’m wondering what all was at play to make that happen. I’m really glad that this sub has stopped being so partisan recently, maybe that had something to do with it.

We need to acknowledge how bad things really are today compared to the past, as it seems to have snowballed in the last couple years. Some questions for you:

  • How can we get our freedom of information back?

  • What will it take to activate a (peaceful, but angry)revolt against this oppression?

  • What are some practical steps we can take to start sliding the scale back to liberty?

  • Should social media be regulated? Should information be protected from ads and propaganda? What would government’s role be in this?
Thanks for reading. We’re kind of at a flashpoint with this right now, so I thought I would try to paint a full picture for you all as best I could to show the complete level of ubiquitousness and infiltration of the tentacles that seek to hold liberty down. It’s time to come up with solutions and start brainstorming, while we still can.

With love love and dignity, KoreaNSFW

Not often that you find bullshit in such density.

And here we see how posters who start out all "I'm on the side of people" end up calling for tax cuts for rich people and deregulation. This clown was already arguing that the president should be allowed to hide his income sources from the public.

Worst job I had was working a call center for my university. We'd have to cold call alumni and ask for money. Talk about soul crushing. I quit after 2 weeks and then got a job with a moving company. I'd rather carry king size mattresses up 5 story walk ups every day than spend a minute on the phone.

My ex did that. I always find the scripts that get developed for those things fascinating, but the exercise itself definitely sucks.

On the bad job topic, I did fast food through high school but during the summer I doubled up and did landscaping. That work is a nightmare. Constantly under the sun and killing your back. Made the fast food job feel like I wasn’t even working.

Worst jobs I’ve had:

Busboy (too young to legally work, but it was my friend’s family Thai restaurant. Lots of fun actually because of coworkers but the job itself sucks)
House painter
Debt collector

Dishwasher at a hipster coffeehouse circa late 90's was the worst. My employment there ended the day I got called out of the kitchen to clean the contents of a ruptured colostomy bag off the dining room floor.

I think what pissed young me off the most is the fella who the bag was attached to sat and finished his fucking spinach knish while I mopped his shit up
