Is that a trick question? Of course I follow the Leafs when they suck. What choice do I have?

Brand loyalty...it's real.

I'm not saying it's not real but I think following local teams are different.

Do you follow the Raptors when they suck or the Jays?

I think if you like one peanut butter more than others, that's not brand loyalty but flavor preference. For me, I think Bally and AEs are always going to be who I check first if I need new casual shoes. And that is just that I've had good experiences with them in the past.

I mean, I think I like the taste/consistency better, but I'm also realize it's a matter of what I grew up with and the sentimentality I associate with it. I couldn't guarantee that I could tell the difference between it and Jiffy in a blind taste test.

Brand loyalty benefits are derived from the fact that it has to be earned and backed up.

Do I trust a product to give me what it promises?

Will I pay more or buy more of that product based on that trust?

I'm meaning in terms of products that are known to be fungible with non-name brands.

Two that come to mind specifically are motor parts and baby food. In the case of motor parts, most of Napa and Primeline are the exact same thing....both as each other and as non name brands. You're paying more for the label (I guess there could be some customer service consideration). With baby food, it's well known and can be verified that Beechnut and Gerbers are, again, the same as both each other and the generic competitors, but the parents care a lot about their kids and want to feel like they're giving their kids the best products; and they develop loyalty to the brands through raising successive kids.

- Really into fitness
- Able to permanently change metabolism
- Gained 40 lbs in two years
- Obsessed with ‘Adding muscle’
If I recall correctly you put on 40 lbs in less time than that before you won Mr. Taiwan. It’s a different matter, of course, on your 6’11” frame than his 5’11”.

Growing my dad owned/ran a small corner deli.

When we made hoagies we used a generic mayonnaise but when making potato and macaroni salad we used Hellmann's because it held longer.

One day a long time costumer came in while we were making potato salad and saw the Hellmann's jar and went on a rant about how Hellmann's was the best and that's why our hoagies were the best in the neighborhood.... even though unbeknownst to her we never used Hellmann's on the sandwiches

@PolishHeadlock2 I must clarify by what I mean by "all of them"

I don't follow the Argos, because Football is lame. CFL...NFL...it's all lame. They are not included in my "all of them" statement. I only pay attention to sports that aren't lame.

Why is it so damn hard to use giphy on here?

I never have any issues with it

Sometimes it works fine. Other times I get the

I don’t even remember who Engine Kid is.

Edit: and who the hell is Lead Salad anyway?
Engine Kid was a great TS. Kind of a troll, if I recall correctly, but he knew how to get a thread going.

Those threads are a trip. Kind of weird going back and reading that. I think Matt has passed away.

What was his av? I’ve heard people reference him and thought he was before I came here but there a post of me talking about him.

Lol Matt didn't pass away that was just a prank

I don't think he liked the new management

@punkmother might enlighten us

We don't even need that hypothetical because we had Pride, Strikeforce, Affliction and other orgs back in the day.

Back when they were all competing I bought what looked like the better cards and they were all similarly priced.

Sure when u know the fighters - you r killing my hypothetical lol
