I don't have sleep paralysis, but sometimes I wake up early and can't get back to sleep.

That's pretty rough too, imo.

I don't have sleep paralysis, but if I drink more than 10 beers there's like a 60% chance I pee the bed.

Look a troll-y post.

@Lead

Pompeo's character kills me

James Adomian does a bunch of voices on the show. He does great impressions of Bernie, Chris Matthews, Jesse Ventura, Seb Gorka, etc. He has a fairly new podcast called The Underculture where he and one of his improv friends do sketches with impressions of different political figures.

Seriously though, orcs are cool as hell. Easily one of my favorite fantasy races.
Read Grunts by Mary Gentle. It's a fantasy satire about a war clan of orcs that discover an enchanted trove of modern military weapons and equipment. As they start to equip themselves with M-16s and Apache Helicopters, their personalities change to be more like stereotypical US Marines. It's LotR combined with Full Metal Jacket.
Orcs are cool, thank you. We’re also really great armorers, the best.

I would have expected being talked down to by a High Elf, but an Argonian?

When I read “The Lusty Argonian Maid” I truly empathized with @Falsedawn ’s people’s history of subjugation and sexual objectification. Now come to find out he probably has a copy of “The Pig Children” on his bedside table, smh.

You know what is weird when you think about it? In Skyrim, your Argonian or Khajit character can turn into a werewolf.

The only race:

Bring it:

Fuck the elves.

I feel the buzzing of the hist in my vertebral spines, but I identify as an Altmer shitlord with maxed out enchanting and free Destruction spells.

Trust me, spell slinging fights become way better when you don't have to keep popping potions every 3 fireballs. Take Quiet Casting from the Illusion tree and you can leverage all that stealth that you got when you were an early level stealth archer. You can make two schools free through enchanting, so I usually go Destruction and Restoration.

The use of the Magicka bar drove me nuts that I gave up on doing any magic. I did the Mages College questline but used my enchanted ax to get through it.

Sometimes, I wake up, fully paralyzed, at around 04:00. I can't move ANYTHING and I'm almost panicking because it feels like I'm gonna swallow my own tongue. I hear something in the corner of my room, I can't look at it all because I can't move my head. It's running around on 4 legs, sounds the size of a small dog. It's sniffing and grunting, like it's looking for something. It gets closer and closer and then it jumps on my chest, "waking" up my body.

I’ve only had that happen to me once and it was in high school. The other two times didn’t have that other entity feeling but the one time it did, that was traumatizing. I didnt see or hear anything but it’s like a presence just out of my range of sight that’s glaring at me. The very end of your description is dead on. I feel it getting closer and closer until it reaches out and I feel something hit my chest and then wake up immediately.

I didn’t know people deal with that often. That’s horrible.

They really did not scale the MP up with devotion to the magic schools. A dedicated mage should be able to both cast a ton of shit and be protected from a ton of shit, but you can't do both until late game. Boo devs. This also has the side effect of nerfing spellswords into useless bundles of sticks. Should be able to both buff yourself and be able to fuck with enemies so that your weak one-handed power can be more effective. Just imo.

If you max out Enchanting (level 100 and all 5 perks of Enchanter) and use a grand soul gem, you can enchant an item with Fortify Magicka to reduce the cost of a school by a flat 25%. Enchant a helmet, amulet, ring, and robe, and you get 100% free cost. And then with the Extra Effect perk, you get to do it twice, so two schools. My early game is always stealth archery while i'm pumping enchanting and making money. Once you can start enchanting fortified items, your magicka skills will go up crazy fast.

That's why you do the Hound thing and tank all the damage or try and make a Geralt/Legolas avoid all damage and smack people around character.

Fuck the namby pamby casting spell shit.

I didn't do this till I hit almost level 22 on the last run I trailed off on so my dude was running around with a DragonBone ax that was enchanted in like Dragonscale armor wrecking shit and just casting healing spells all the time.

Especially since the AI never seems to be affected by it, considering that they'll ward and fling Adept level fireballs at you like their magicka is dragon tier. That's why I don't consider the free magicka thing cheese. Yeah it lets you spam high level spells, but i'm mainly using it so I can keep a ward and still be able to destroy people. It changes the whole magic game at range.

For me the sword & board combat, or god forbid two handed, was pretty boring most of the time. But some people hate playing a sneak archer and want to bash shit in the brains, so eh. Magic just wasn't supported well enough, they missed the balance somehow. I'm not smart enough to fix it though.
