I just kinda took it as if i say "no" in front of a group of people it would be like im some kind dickhead. I started off in retail when I was a kid. I am using prefab models for the environment and characters (for now), but handling all the artwork (like the girl in the dialogue UI for example), animations, and coding of the game mechanics myself. Lots of work still to do and this is just a prototype, at this rate it'll take me about 3 years to finish, hehe. But the nerd cred will be tremendous, imo.

Loose story thus far is our futuristic world's hero is a garbage truck driver with a mysterious past and a crush on a stripper. The stripper is kidnapped and a strange portal has opened in town, pouring out robots who re wreaking havoc.

I am using prefab models for the environment and characters (for now), but handling all the artwork (like the girl in the dialogue UI for example), animations, and coding of the game mechanics myself. Lots of work still to do and this is just a prototype, at this rate it'll take me about 3 years to finish, hehe. But the nerd cred will be tremendous, imo.

I wanted to like this post but think it would be a bad idea considering the last sentence.
