Oh, no...my life is over. What I know for sure is that none of your replies to me in this thread actually address what I said. It's not a good look.
LOL You can start over. I'm already done. You'll find the search box to be useful in your quest, young'un. But next time try reading what is being said from the beginning before you waste several posts replying to things people didn't say.Oh, no...my life is over.
Maybe we can start over? What was your initial question/statement to me?
The quote is only about a specific kind of Christian, not all Christians.
Oh come on man, you're a good guy but still on with this #notall shit? But you see how the implication being pointed towards all Christians isn't too much of a leap though right? Since the majority aren't fans of abortion.
Oh come on man, you're a good guy but still on with this #notall shit?
I am not even saying that is always wrong but it feels like your go to objection when you see something that gets posted that goes against your side. And something tells me you're not as quick to spout #notall when one of the knuckle-draggers rags on the left.
This is why I try and add a perfunctory #notall to some of my posts, just to avoid dealing with shit like this.
Because its just a cheap way to avoid the point when its usually obvious that there is a non-negligible amount of people out there with the attributed view point. Why do folks have a problem with the "not all" response? Seriously. If folks are going to make a statement (regardless of what side they're on) they need to be clear who they're calling out or describing.
See that's the thing, you'd likely not do it on your own.Feel free to tag me when some knuckle-dragger rags on the left or others and invokes the all or none approach. I'll gladly add my #NotAll comment.

Her mind is still there she just stammers and sometimes can't find the right word, it also sounds like she got new teeth and they're too big (thats what it sounds like). She's far from the worst. Some of those dinosaurs in the senate are so clearly out of it, it's scary. Like "Where am I? What's going on?" dementia kind of scary.
My own? What the crap does that mean? I have no "my own" here. It's me and my positions. I don't represent anyone else.
@MiniCraque What's your opinion on this video, as far as the presentation of the Rouseff, Temer, Lula, and Bolsonaro saga?

Eh, this really rubs me the wrong way. I'l try not to rant about it.
I appreciate this guy's anti-imperialist general stance, but it seems to permeate everything he looks at and at times makes him unable to look at certain issues without the "the imperialists did it" angle. It's kinda ironic that a guy who's very critical of Americentrism ends up doing the same thing by heavily attributing political shifts happening overseas to American propaganda and shadowy interests. Even though I'm very disappointed by the current political climate and the way the country is headed, I don't pretend like there's no agency involved and "blame the US" is a cop out that ignores actual history and simplifies everything down to a handful of people somewhere engineering societal change.
I really really like Chomsky but the notion that Bolsonaro is at the helm of anything (including his own government), nevermind the imprisonment of Lula is downright laughable. So is the notion that the entire judiciary system (one that is so full of checks and balances to the point that it can barely function) was rigged against Lula.
It's called being old.I noticed that Hillary seems to be dying. I know that she was just sick and that whole thing was a lie, but apart from that she seems very dying-y, and has for a long time.

Dilma: hell no, her impeachment was definitely shady af and completely unrelated to the violations it was formally based on. As time goes on the whole thing hasn't aged well. Thanks for the response. I think I've asked you about the subject before. Is it your opinion that Dilma and Lula received political/criminal treatment consistent with what any other politicians would receive in Brazil? I remember thinking when I read about it back when that the impeachment of Rouseff was more objectionable than the prosecution of Lula, although the latter's sentence is ridiculously stiff.
The "Hillary is really sick" thing reached its apex of shamelessness after the first election debate when Trump was sniffling multiple times in every single answer and neither side questioned his health.
