For Vietnamese I like Pho, got a bunch of good spots for that around here.

So do you just agree then that rip mistakenly called Pan gay? Either by hitting reply to the wrong comment or not reading the comment fully to see it was about Pan? Because either of those could certainly have happened. But just repeating rip did not call pan gay is false.

Katz' is one of my favourite places in New York. The jewish grub in New York in general was my favourite feature. Hot Bialys in Queens was also awesome. Altogether I have to give the pastrami war to New York, but the bagel war to Montreal.

Ramen and japanese food in general is everywhere here. The one place that I didn't bother to look for vietnamese food is in France, which probably has some decent stuff. But everywhere else it's of mediocre quality at best.
