Ouch.

My favorite NFL moment ever was when the Cardinals sent the Packers into the playoffs in the "destiny year" when the shit happened with Favre's dad and all. I didn't even get to see it in real time. I was watching the ticker tape on bated breath.

Exactly those types of heartbreaking moments. Just used to it by now. I was younger and them explaining the force a reciever out of bounds rule was such a joke

There was a rivalry, but I was a big fan of Favre on the Packers

I will now confess my nfl team allegiance

I'm a Viking fan

It sucks

Good enough to get your hopes up each year to have it hurt more when they choke it away
Harrison Smith bless.

Fuck your team though. Fuck them.

I think the Pats and the aforementioned teams have proven the fungibility of receivers that just isn't there in quarterbacks, pass rushers, and defensive backs. For instance, I think you put Aaron Rodgers on just about any top 3 defense of the past decade and they become a heavy Super Bowl favorite regardless of the offensive skills positions talent.. However, you put Julio or AB on the Packers at any point during the past decade and I'm not sure that it changes their season outcomes whatsoever.

The Pats are an outlier, but their record year did have Moss and they have the best pass catching tight end who ever lived. I agree with the Rodgers take but he's a special, generational talent. And let's remember he doesn't have cans catching the ball. Adams is a top 5 WR imo.

Also, I don't think any of those teams have true blue chip receivers (with the exception of Pit if that was projected when they had AB): certainly not the Rams, Pats, Chargers, or Bears.

Depends on the definition of blue chip, but the Rams have three very good ones. Woods & Cooks had 1,200+ yards and Cupp was having a great year before the injury. Keenan Allen is top notch. Pats have Gronk. Bears are certainly an outlier and I think there is probably a ceiling to their success, but we'll see. I think Trubisky is an open question.

Yikes. Goff was/is imo the best QB prospect of the past two decades after Andrew Luck. The only one that I think presents a good argument for being higher was Eli. And he's still getting better as McVay loosens the reigns and lets him develop into his own style and rhythm.

Well, the Rams are a great team and have probably the second most dynamic overall offense in the league and that certainly helps Goff a ton (so does the great O line in front of him).

I don't analyze college performance and don't really know how prospects are rated so you may be right on that. I know there was debate about Wentz or Goff (and Wentz is better so far). I'm really speaking to were we would rank him now in the league and I have him middle of the pack. I believe he is carried by the coach and the offense overall, which is top notch. In QBR he's ranked 10th in 2018.

Goff is basically a can crusher so far, he really doesn't produce against good teams. Can he get better and shut me the hell up? 100%. But there are guys I'd take over him even if we're talking guys under 30. I'd take Mahomes, Wentz and Cam for sure.

Juju's block on Burfict should get him a HoF spot alone. Dude should be enshrined and have his number retired league wide for doing God's work and posturing over Burfict's prone body.

If it makes you feel better, the Packers have a lot of tragic losses:

4th and 26 (+the Favre game-losing INT)
Collapse in Seattle in 2014
Favre's game-losing INT against Giants in 2007
Favre's 5-INT game in St. Louis in 2001
First loss at Lambeau to Vick in 2002.

Oh, man. That's my favorite NFL moment in years. I was half-asleep when I turned on my cell phone and saw that GIF. It was like someone injected adrenaline into me. I was a fan of Schuster anyways, but that it happened to that POS Burfict only a year after that Bengals D was shamelessly headhunting AB in the yoffs. Priceless. Delicious. Irreplaceable.

That block happened and I think I actually legit jumped up and cheered.

My favorite was when some dude in the Sports Bar posted a tweet about Burfict fighting training staff in the locker room trying to get back onto the field to fight Juju. He attached this GIF and had me rolling:

Fucking glorious.

I think it's hilarious how Burfict reacted after the block like "I was just staying down to get the penalty" and guys I know that are fight fans that don't watch football are like "bro, no... you couldn't breath and were worried you had a broken rib"

AFC North in prime time is seriously must-see television. I hate it when people complain about the violence between the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals (Browns seem to get left out because they're also pathetically terrible). There was a Ravens/Bengals (or it might have been Ravens/Steelers) game back in the 2014 season that was fucking epic too.

That violence is why the NFL exists and is such big business.

You used to get that in the NFC North too.

Fucking Jim McMahon.....

It's why it surprises me that outside of like Boston, NY, and maybe Philly and a couple other cities that hockey has never really truly taken off in the US.

They're like 200lb men... skating AT each other at like 20mph if not more.. with swords attached to their feet slamming into each other and they're allowed to fucking fight to self police? WHAT THE FUCK IS NOT TO LIKE?!

Bruins fan: ''Gawd he dinevendunuffin''

Surprise, surprise.

Did you see The Rat's Tweet last playoffs when the Habs Twitter tried to get one over on him about licking people:

Also, objectively... Burfict is the dirtiest motherfucker to ever play:

Guy is a piece of shit and deserves every fucking cheapshot he takes.

@Prokofievian

I figure you hate this clip and while I get the argument you aren't supposed to run a goalie... if they come out of the crease.......
