The brain is interesting as fuck but there's too much Chemistry involved for me to earn a degree in it. :p

My sister-in-law has a Phd in chemistry. I'm like, let's make some acid or something. She's all...

I guess you, as a Canadian who moved to the states, will have to.

iu

You would have to make some pretty faulty assumptions for that gif to work.

Well damn. Share with us a recipe. :D

Hah! My first spirit was made from fermented peach juice, and was absolutely awful. I mean we drank it, but it was terrible.
Should have gone with potatoes, grapes or ginger like the other kids...

Yet in spite of all this jazz it still sucks.

Weird.

I forgot a province full of hawt French chicks with daddy issues. So there is def some sucking in Canada but it’s the good kind !!!!

Hello Mr. Fake Indian. How does Chief Nathan Phillips's asshole taste?
What are you basing your accusation of fake Indian-ness on? And why did it immediately go to homosexual analingus in your mind?

P1: You're from Canada
P2: You reside in Florida
P3: There are great things you miss about Canada
C: You're on the outside looking in (represented by the .gif)

Seemed good enough for a silly joke on a karate forum.

I meant the explosives.

You make any spirits these days?

LOL can’t argue the last sentance, It just works better with French hawt chicks, social programs and progressive taxation not so much.

No. I've home brewed beer intermittently, but somehow my weight and fitness always seems to suffer when I do.

The explosives were just an acetone peroxide recipe one of the kids had found on an anarchist BBS. Apparently the recipe left out that if you don't use an ice bath while adding the concentrated acid, it tends to form an isomer that's significantly less stable than the desired acetone peroxide (not exactly stable at the best of times), can spontaneously explode, and will certainly explode with pressure or friction.
Unfortunately one of the less attentive students tried to pack it into a rocket.

Seemed ok up until organic chemistry. My God. Took two years off to regroup and study something else. lol

Organic Chem is the reason I became an electrical engineer rather than a bio-med

Once I lost the numbers to turn everything into just a math word problem, I realized I in fact could not do chemistry.

I lost Chemistry when you hit that point where:
"We can know 1 of 2 things about electrons but not both at the same time. Either we can know where it is but not how fast it is or we can know how fast it is but not where it is... oh yeah, and we can't see them"
"So how do we know these things react this way because of what you're telling me"
"We just do"
"But you said we can't see them and we can know the 2 most important factors of them at the same time..."
"Yes...."
"This is like saying I have a dead body and the gun that did it but if I use the gun for evidence I lose the ability to use the dead body at trial...."

PRETTY sure I changed majors later that same day. My biggest issue I think was I loved physics but when I hit that point in physics where we talked about Chemistry and you needed Calculus to do it my brain was like "yeah bro, fuck you"

Some of the shit I just had to accept in the 3000 level EE courses I just had to let go and be like "ok professor whatever you say. Now how do I apply this to the exam questions?"

Current and power existing in the imaginary plane (yes, that's the fully technical term) was rough

I'm PRETTY sure my brain literally broke when we started a small organic chem block of study in my chemistry class to the point I was like "I feel like I'm being told to ignore EVERYTHING I just learned"

For solace from the failure I turned to the bosom of liberal arts.
