Liar is objectively false. But anyway, I think my point about you being hateful is well-established here.

I don't think calling a few people on their bullshit establishes anything of the sort, but if it helps you to cope then do you.

Oh my god
Is the gun really big or is the salad really small?!

And what is the duck thing about, I forget? It resembles less of a duck...

ed. I remember now, I have more to black out lol.

No idea what you guys talking about but I believe the gun is a Taurus judge, it's a big gun and also one of the biggest scams in the gun market. It's a revolver/shotgun, it sucks as both.

I agree.

I remember learning that failures of Socialism were central planning, seizing the means of production and eliminating markets.

And you can point to failed states to support that.

But we have people screaming "Socialism" at the idea of a 70% top marginal tax rate, expanded safety nets etc... and you can easily point to higher marginal tax rates in Americas own past within the past 70 years where the economy was strong along with European saftey nets to dispel those fears.

And you have more economists and historians speaking publicly about those things.

Yelling socialism about those things might turn into the boy who cried wolf soon.

I think the history of this discussion could be punctuated with a giant dollop of irony. In terms of electing a socialist, conservative should hope to get someone like me: someone who will mostly allow the market to drive productivity, incentives, innovation, and allocation of (some) resources and will mostly just augment the firms within the market by way of worker democratization and forced allocation of equity to employees and the government. I mean, sure, I might nationalize some natural resources and expropriate a smidgen of wealth, but for the most part the general market structure would remain.

What is increasingly likely imo is that the inevitable socialist is a bit less surgical than that and actually goes for massive collectivization and mass nationalization, maybe executes a few plutocrats, etc.

Going back to the other thread (and his conduct in it), I think if you're so suspicious of some hidden, secret motive that you can't discuss an issue like a normal person, you should recognize that the problem is with you and just give it a miss. What's even the point of being an Anung?

Idk, I wasn't actually following your disagreement. I just saw the asshole post. I also think that, in addition to my prior entries, "hack" and "neoliberal" would probably top asshole.

I don't think anyone has called me an asshole before, actually. And liar is pretty rare, and comes more out of "no *your* the liar" stuff. Anung's one of the most dishonest posters here (rivals Inga), and whenever he's caught, that's his go-to move. Though he's never been able to produce a single example. Whaddyagunnado?

Oh my god
Here, this is for the best. I wish I had the original without Tardzilla's handiwork, so I could frame it and call it something like, "Rotund shadow over a subpar salad as I contemplate murder"

I've seen you called a liar, but I think most regular posters here have been called a liar. I don't think I've seen you called an asshole.

Yo @Clippy where are you at? Do you ven WR? I’m getting drunken and @Gandhi is smoking bud? Where you at?

Just took my brother to see Alita. The effects were pretty awesome, and Christoph Waltz was perfect as always. Something was off with the pacing and character development, and I wasn't stoked on it trying to get into Hunger Games franchise territory. Not bad though, two hours well spent. The 3-D was excellent.

Very much a fan of the move toward higher end theaters, the seats are amazing and totally worth paying double. I don't see a lot of movies so I'm happy to be more comfortable.

@Clippy get your boys in here to start posting so they have enough posts to vote next year.

Last time I went I fell right the fuck to sleep in one of those awesome chairs.

Anybody else really like the odds on Woodley? He's in -160 territory.
