Are we gonna play a game where it takes longer to find and link songs than to listen to them? If so, this is my favorite. A short little tune about race relations in 1960s USA, or so Sir Paul claims nowadays.

I played your song, bro. While I was pulling up links. I bought the Anthrax record on release day though, so it's not like...

PS. This isn't the most inspiring Beatles' song. It's ok though.

Throw them all in jail. And give them "being a dumbass" sentence enhancements.
I really can't respect the lack of awareness of any kind there. If I had a teenager that would go to a dumb party like that where the cops are likely to beat them up and possibly injure them permanently, I'd drag them home by the neck like a cat.

But no, these parents are willing to take a beating in front of their children to prove what? That you can break the law and possibly start another infection spike, causing people to die? All because they can't party. Jesus christ.

Reminds me of US parents that do that “I’m ok with my kid drinking and getting shitfaced as at least I know where the booze is coming from”

I would have taken a frying pan to the neck if I would have ever got caught in a picture throwing rocks at the cops. Even today probably.

Same. I was terrified when I was pulled over for a broken taillight. Not of the cops but of what my parents would do if I caught a ticket or something.

How about just with a picture?

For whatever reason it's one of my favorites. I regularly listened to the Beatles even back in my "if it ain't metal it's crap!!" days. Lifelong fan.

This is the one that made me a fan. Still GOAT track of theirs imho.

Funny though. Before I was hip, this song at the beginning of The World According To Garp was perfect.

It's really pretty sad how the evolutionary process of domestication has led livestock to tend to crave human affection, yet the overwhelming majority will only know torture and slaughter from humans.

Wah Wah

Yeah but if you go back to the article which references nazis punks and skins, and just leave the skins, it’s pretty accurate.

As you know, Nazis skins were a plague on the 80s hardcore scene. And ok they were skins not punks, ok, but they were really the biggest assholes of punk scene that shave their head and put boots on. Oi! became dodgy pretty fast, and it was a punk off shoot. I mean these skinheads were nothing like the original ska/mod/rude boy types that came before them.

But for sure, Nazis punk never really made sense in the idea of total non conformity and being a jackboot thug.

Yeah, I think something got lost in translation there. What seemed interesting to me is the link between the anti-Nazi movement in punk and Antifa. Haven't seen a good history of all that, and I thought A and I might know something about it.

A Day in the Life started on my phone just as I pulled up this notification. Imagine that. A friend of mine is one of those "the Beatles suck" type of guys. I'd be happier if he was a dirty Commie! Lol

Because it's their GOAT song, of course.

Maybe six of one, half dozen of the other? Either way, clearly retarded.
