how very interesting...

Humbert in the Irons film Isn't really charming...if anything, he's kinda like your archetype "beta" male. He definitely does just try to justify actions...and get sympathy but all along he knows what he does is wrong.

this is the opening of the film. (no spoilers) time stamped.

"....light of my life, fire of my loins."

Personally thought the Irons flick was pretty mediocre.

2 Sunny side up eggs. Crispy bacon. Home fries. Rye toast and like 2 pancakes on the side is the best

So the "American Breakfast". Can't argue with that.

  • American Style Breakfast: Two eggs (fried, omelet, boiled or poached), Meat (sliced bacon, sausages, minutes steak, patties), Potato (hash-brown or O'Brien potatoes), Bread and Toast, Preserves and Butter, Pancakes with syrup or Waffle, Cereal (cornflakes, oatmeal, etc. ), Coffee/ Tea, Juices and Fruits(orange, grapefruit, etc.).

I can but TBH I cut a LOT of that shit out. it's gotten to a a point where just a few bites of fast food will kinda fuck me up, like molasses in my system, & then BAM the itis would hit haha.

I try not to eat rice, potatoes, & I try to severely limit bread intake. then comes cheese. my weakness haha. I hardly touch it at all.

Damn, bro. What's left? :)

I can do like raita

Essential when enjoying Indian.

Yea I tried an omelet few months back to see if anything changed and spit it out in the trashcan.

I also hate when my wife makes scrambled eggs in the morning and leaves the dirty pan on the stove or makes the house smell like boiled eggs in the morning too.

God bless her, fighting the good fight, minus the boiled eggs thing.

it's odd, I've taken more of a liking to fish as I grow older. I still eat chicken & a bunch of normal things, just not fast food & shit.

I'm pretty heavy on oatmeal too for breakfast. like a giant motherfucking bowl every morning. there's a sale on Amazon, I got a Quaker Oats 48pack for $11. can't go wrong.

Who knows? I like brioche, and some french toast (if it's mixed in enough to not be eggy). Raw egg on steak tartare is OK, too (not something I like, but I can eat around it or accidentally get some and it's OK). I'll have some egg nog around the holidays, too (with cinnanon, nutmeg and bourbon or something--can't just have it straight).

Hmm, I'm surprised you don't mind a raw egg. I wouldn't go near a raw egg. I guess the tartare makes it acceptable as part of the dish for you. I've never had tartare and it's the raw egg I find so unappealing.

Republicans say this about any tax increase on the wealthy.

Why would anyone care what Kasich has to say about anything.

The Never Trump Republicans are a very, very narrow portion of the electorate, but Kasich is extremely influential among them.

From everyone's favorite moderate

It's important to remember that literally anybody that has been associated with the Republican Party in the past 17 years is absolutely and without doubt an enormous piece of shit.

Is that a brand or a style?

It Taylor ham AKA pork roll. Here in jersey we call it Taylor ham. A lot of states don’t have this. It’s amazing.
Jersey is famous for Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll.

Sure I get that. Isn’t he a climate denier as well? Or he was one but doesn’t think we should do anything about it?

why would I take his opinion on the tax hike either? The gop always tries to hold the country hostage with this rhetoric.

He was something of a fiscal conservative as governor IIRC.

And, yeah, I think Chomsky used him as an example of the ethical bankruptcy of the Republican Party: that, among the 2016 Republican candidates, he was the best because, while the others claimed to disbelieve climate science, Kasich believes it but just wants to ignore it.

I dunno when the last time I made an update on my Uncle was, but he basically has been in the hospital for two months now, minus like a week at home. He has lost over a hundred pounds (weighs like 140 now at 6'3) and has been so weak that even when he was well enough to be sent home, he could not sit up by himself.

Once he got home, within a week he was coughing so bad his lung collapsed, so back to the hospital he goes. His lung finally reinflated today, but he now needs a transplant but is too weak even to go through the tests needed to get on the waiting list, much less make the trip to Lexington to wait.
Sorry to hear that, man. Here's hoping.

And get in touch any time.
