What's the difference between the Moorish Hebrews and Black Israelites? Which viewpoint do you see as being closer to the truth?

'Moor' isn't an ethnic group, nation, or bloodline. It's a title that's been given to different groups in history typically Muslim and African. There can be a person who is both a Moor by title and Hebrew by bloodline. I don't know this to be true but i think most Moors in history are Hamites and Ishmaelites.

I think the Black Israelites are closer to the truth although I don't completely subscribe to there views from what I know of them. They seem to like to dress up in power ranger suits and condemn gentiles all day.

I'm still sorting through it all myself.

Extremely. I won't judge you for getting just about any tattoo....other than that cringey patriot shit.

I will only excuse it if you've been in the armed forces and therefore have integrated your feelings of patriotism into your life experience and sense of identity in a meaningful way. Otherwise, if you were just born here and that -- where you were born -- is the thing that most defines you? Shit, you're a boring douche and your stories probably suck something fierce. I can't think of anything that is less meaningful.

I bet you have some rage about sports fans as well since most fandom just depends on the city you are in.

Yeah the black Israelites definitely have their own aesthetic. As you are sorting through it all are you affiliated or drawing knowledge from any one group in particular or at least more than others?

When I was talking about Moors, I don't mean just the ethnic group or black North Africans but a subset of American blacks who call themselves Moors. They seem similar in some ways to the nation of Islam. Now no doubt these various groups might seem very distinct from an inside perspective, but from the outside looking in they all seem similar to me, especially in their recasting of the history and identity of the black race and especially blacks in America. A lot of your psots remind me of these guys.

And sorry to barrage you with questions, but do what extent to you see the identity of American blacks as a religious one? How would you describe your own religious views? Judaistic/Hebrew faith or more Muslim or Christian etc?

anyone watching the fights tonight?

I even picked Heath Herring over Brock. Ooops.

IIRC, that was a smart bet. Brock was over-hyped and otherwise would have/should have been a big underdog. If Herring knew his weakness (taking punches like a little bitch) I think Herring would have won by just staying low and throwing missiles at his chin.

I'd have bet against him vs. Herring and for him vs. Couture.

Writing in cursive was strongly emphasized when I was in school , but I'm probably one of the older participants here. I have always struggled with the capital Z in cursive.
What system of cursive?
I learned that

Nowadays I mixed block letters, that D for example is very childish here. Look how it's vertical compared to the american systems
Apparently the more common in the US is that one, Zaner-Bloser

I find that one interesting but the Q looks like a 2, the G was also indecipherable to me

Didn't help that Mirgliotta poked him in the eye right before the fight started.

No way. Herring didn't have anything in his toolbox to bother Brock and was looking pretty washed up at the time. I thought it was a kind of pro-wrestling still enhancement match. Lesnar was like -200 but was undervalued. Couture was a legit test, but he was old, coming off a long layoff, and undersized (and had previously left the division saying that big grapplers were too much for him). That was one where we didn't really know how good Brock was so maybe he could lose, but he seemed to have all the advantages.

I called Brock's kind of unusually strong fear of getting hit after his fight with Couture.

Awfuly story but my handwriting is inefficient because in preschool/kindergarten when they'd give us those dotted line papers to learn how to draw each letter, I would ignore the arrows thinking "I can do it either direction and the teacher sees it filled in so whats in matter". I'm pretty sure though it slows down my handwriting that I write some letters the opposite way. Very fortunate typing is way more important now.

I learned the Palmer method, though I only learned that this is what I learned just now. The capital Q is the giveaway. Almost as bad as the capital Z. I still write a lot of notes and messages by hand, but I rarely use cursive anymore.

Source? I was baptized. Were you?
Dear Papist, the Roman Catholic Church was a mix of Christianity with Roman Paganism. The founders combined pagan festivals like Saturnalia with Christian doctrine to create Christmas, for example.
There is also that:
It comes from the Latin word for a wretched, mean dog. When you write in cursive, you're learning to be mean and ill-fed. That's how they get you.
Do you know who loves teaching cursive, right? Catholic schools. The same schools were they rape boys and where people like Kavanaugh studied. By the way, look at the supreme court. All justices are either Catholic or Jewish, coincidence? Maybe, but keep an eye on it.

Catholic school or just old?
