Fawlty, you're a dick to people and so was your buddy Homer. You've been downright mean-spirited to me personally. This is the WR, when people get banned we talk about them in shame, that's how it has always been, you or Homer are not exempt, and you know this. You running around across several threads shutting down any conversation about him is stupid. And now you can't even take the smallest of jokes about "feewings"?

I try not to imagine @Ripskater as banned. The self-imposed exile was hard enough.
 
as for the Homer situation. The reason getting in "licks" in this thread was and is discouraged as it defeats the purpose of the thread. This is the thread to shoot the breeze and let your hair down. To relax and let the partisan team shit go. If you want to get in licks, there is an entire forum devoted to it being the OT. There is a thread devoted to the Homer banning in there.

Problem is I am a 20 something guy so my neck shouldn't be at this stage. I don't recall anything crazy happening the week. A loop choke or two but I've had weeks like that before.

I'm rude to you because you're a remarkably bad human being and extremely dishonest. You definitely don't get the benefit of the doubt with me. We're not pals.

I'm also not running around different threads trying to shut anything down. When this thread turned over from the last version, with the word from a mod that the Homer shit was done with in the Lounge thread, I insisted on it. I didn't complain about the OT thread, I didn't backdoor with any of the staff about this stuff, I didn't report anything, and I didn't try to tell anybody not to talk about it in other threads.

And it was clearly the right thing, because all that you cheese eating little vermin wanted to do was piss off his friends and grave-dance, and it would have gone on uncontrolled and would have ended up with a number of posters carded/banned. RR realized that, and so did I, because we've been around the block a bit and have been at least minimally observant.

Now print this post out on diploma stationery and quit trying to make you off me. Trifling little rodent.

Is the irony of Fawlty calling homer haters "rats" lost on anyone? I wonder if Jones fans in the heavies will use the term on any of his haters.

The greater irony is that I didn't hate Homer, he was legit very funny, and if he hadn't turned heel I wouldn't want him banned. I even specifically didn't pile on Homer like a lot of people did after the whole fiasco, it was too easy.
